Well, I just got done riding with my new Lectron carb. I showed up early to today's ride in case I needed to adjust the needle since I didn't make any adjustments before installing it. It started right up but it was blubbering when riding. Took out the carb and leaned the needle 3/4 turn. Either the Mikuni is a POS, I can't jet a carb or the Lectron is magic. Holy cow! What an amazing difference. Just like others have said, smooth electric feel. I was able to ride a gear higher and rode the best I've ever ridden. I was trying to choose between the Rekluse or a new carb. I don't think I'll be getting a Rekluse now. If you're in doubt, do it. Kelly offers a money back guarantee. I promise you won't ask for your money back and might feel you should be sending him more money because it works so well.

    Glad you like it man.

"Either the Mikuni is a POS, or the Lectron is magic."

    I think both are true.

I spoke with Kevin early on that they are all coming setup rich and he said he would lean them out but still shipping a little rich. No big deal after you set the rod all you have to do is set the idle from there on out. I have a huge box of jets, needles and slides I don't ever see using ever again.

No idea, I really don't have the opportunity to go wide open where I ride. I spend most of my time in second and third and sometimes fourth gear. I've never had mine wide open with the Mikuni, so I won't be able to do a comparison.

Yeah, we ride mostly tight stuff too but the first time I got to open ground and gave it some throttle I was like

I let my Lectron season on the little side table in the dining room for a week before putting it on. I got to enjoy looking at it over morning coffee, with an after work beer, and during dinner. I kind of miss seeing it there now that its out in the garage on the bike.

Before that I did monitor the UPS truck all day on the day it was delivered.

There was a little snafu on getting me my Lectron. It did show up before the weekend like I wanted it too, though. UPS always shows up a 6-6:30 at my place. I already had dinner plans and came home and it was waiting for me. I installed it around 9PM. There was no way I was going riding and leaving it at home in the box.

That's what I'm talking about :applause:. The day my SC came in it was 40* or so and raining. It went on and my test ride was a few minutes later; in that cold rain. My WB165 kit was tested in the dark LOL.

Kelly and Kevin have one on the way to me, that should be here on Tues. for testing on a 610. There was some confusion about sizes, but things are in motion again. Stay tuned..

Recieved my much anticipated Lectron yesterday (36mm). So after fiddleing with fitment (tight but do-able on my 2011 WR150), getting the throttle cable set up right and doing a hardware store run to get some proper socket head allen screws for the top (6x32 machine screws .5" long), I'm happy to say she fired first kick. Per Kelly's recommendation I turned the rod out 1/2 turn (leaner) before I even tried to start it, and I opened the powerjet up from the delivered 1.0 turns to 1.5 turns out just to be safe. I turned the idle down a half turn once warmed up and she runs like a beast. I could not get it to bog if I tried, even after letting it idle for several minutes and then whacking the throttle wide open. Very pleased so far. I love the clear float bowl, it makes it easy to check float level as well as make sure it is not tilted left or right when installed. I ended up using an old Mikuni TMX cable ferrule (straight) that fit directly into the short brass cable holder provided (which was adjusted as short as possible). This still allowed the provided rubber cable boot to cover everything and left me right in the middle of the cable adjustment at the twist throttle. Very happy so far, will keep you posted on ride results.

Update: returned home from work today, went out the my 30*F garage and gave her one quick kick with no choke and she was purring like a kitten. Never had a bike run this good before. Can't belive how quick the throttle response is when I whack the throttle open, even cold). Snowed here today (of course), but I hope to get her out soon for a real ride report. So far I am totally impressed with the Lectron and would like to thank Vinduro for putting Lectron on the table and Kelly (Motosportz) for making them available to us jetting nerds. You guys rock!

I let Kelly know I have a 2010 TC250 as well... I would be willing to try one out for him but I really need to wait until our local MX track opens this spring to make a fair comparision vs. the FCR, as it is the only place I've ridden this particular bike.

I am getting ready for the next Nat'l Enduro at Salley, SC, March 3rd. Full blown test of my new 2013 WR165 with 36mm Lectron. and my new shoulders. Packing next weekend. I will be also taking my 2011 WR167 incase someone is interested in buying. I am also taking a couple boxes of extras for it. I plan on leaving March 1st afternoon(Friday) heading that way. I will be on row 6A in the 200A class. Let's see how a broken down old man on a Husky fairs against the younger crowd on bigger bikes. LOL. I haven't been on a bike in over 12 weeks.
