i had both, 2011 wr 300 and a new 300XC , I find the Husky takes way more effort to change direction quickly in the tight single track while the Ktm turns effortlessly, the husky is very stable in the fast stuff ( as good as the KTM) . Also i find the Husky feels top heavy compared to the KTM (that has a very low CG) which makes it not as nimble hard to change direction quickly

the problem is they dissed the CR chassis a while back for the bigger 250 and up bikes, 2002 was the last CR 250,360 unless someone knows of another
anyway a friend gave me a 93 CR chassis and I compared it to my 93 WXC and wow what a difference in steering head rake

I also found that extending the rear helped for my setup. Running 13/50

I use the Husky hard part that changes the steering angle.

    Would that be part #8000H2711?

It looks like it works with the Husky hard parts triple clamps? If so, that would mean it doesn't change the steering angle, but actually changes the fork rake angle?

It changes both the offset and headset angle. And 1 degree is a big change. You have to have the kit to do that.

    I went from a 80/100 to a 90/90 and the bike seems to turn better.I've always run a 80/100 and I noticed a difference immediately.Probably just the tire.Mitas C19.

Thanks for the feed back guys! Some great (and interesting) bits of info there.
Tinken the link for your clamps takes me to Yamaha clamps, are they also used for the husky?

All the stuff on the ZipTy website is for Yam, I suspect that is the source of confusion.
