Got to spend some time with the sherco 300 on a very well used harescramble course. This course has everything from black soil to sandy loam, hills, roots, rocks, 8 inch deep ruts with water in them. The 300 is the best small bore 4 stroke on the planet. I have had my fair share of 4 strokes but I'm really a2 stroke guy. If this bike had a kick starter on it I would be real tempted. My Beta 300 racing is still a better bike for me but I wonder how the sherco 2 stroke 300 compares. Hey Sherco put a kick starter on your bikes please.
this week ! pilot Fabien PLANET France new 300 SHERCO 2014 6 ème round enduro Westwood (UK ) finish 3 !
fully ecu to motor controlled, some are simple input data some are multi input data, for example gear, rpm, ignition time. TM Racing uses a new gen electronic PV on the their 85. can be dialed in to be extremely accurate and quick response for exhaust port control
Well if you guys are in the East Coast and close to West Virgina, stop by Ridersville Cycles Harold has a 300i at his shop. I saw it in their when I got my starter motor replaced. He's had a couple guys try it and he's been riding it as well. At the moment he had just put new fork springs in it. I asked him how he liked it compared to the txc310 (he's had both the '12 and '13) and he said they are similar but he thinks the Sherco has more power (not a ton but more none the less). I asked him if he was considering becoming a dealer but I don't think that is going to happen.
Connor I thought Harold was already a Sherco dealer. Pretty sure a Sherco will be my next bike; either the 300i or the soon to be released 250 2-stroke.
2 strocke SHERCO 2014 (250 and 300 ) no valves electronic just electric kick futur injection 2016 ?? TM racing 125 /144 2 stocke 2013..... electonic valves !
I asked him if he would consider it but he said no because their isn't enough money to be made. He said they were to expensive I believe. I may be wrong on that though so don't quote me.
Yes, he is a Sherco dealer and I rode that bike today. Very nice bike. I am not going to say it has more than a TXC 310 but every time I ride it I like it more. Now John, get on up here one Sunday and ride it for yourself.
Really he's a dealer now? I don't see any ads for the Sherco brand on his site, nor did I see a single Sherco in his Showroom, just the one 300i they had in the back (I assume that's the play bike/demo bike). If he is that will be cool. Does anyone make an exhaust for that bike? Maybe akrapovic?
The Gasgas importer is also the importer for the Shercos. They seem to be really pushing the Shercos.
Yep I understand he is a dealer for them. There were only a few shipped over the first couple of times with more on the way now. His site really isn't very up to date and it took him a while to even get the GG bikes up on the site. On the exhaust, FMF has one ready to go and I'm sure others will be out sooner or later. From what I've read Clay (the importer) and his son both race the Sherco's , have parts including spare bikes for customer parts if needed, and he has been pushing them.
Well for a long time I figured my next bike would be a Beta, but maybe a Sherco will be in my future. Who knows maybe even a new Husky depending on how the new bikes work out.
