125-200cc should i reconnect my auto lube?

keep using the pump for road use, I only get 65/70 miles before I'm onto reserve and to premix at a petrol station would be so annoying. Yes my pump did fail but only because when I changed my air filter I didn't position the oil hose back correctly. 4000 miles on it's working great, and that's a dep pipe with bigger jets and slide position in the carb [28 mil not the bigger tmx ones on the wr]. I'd rather have to fit a new pump and piston kit if it failed as opposed to mixing fuel every time. Pumps for the wre are around £60 brand new so probably the same for the sms if you're not sure yours is working.
