Did you buy one of the hi-temp silicone sheets online for the pipe guard? What thickness did you go with? I've been looking at my options for doing the same.

It does well on the rocky stuff and wet sand. I don't like it in the mud. I don't have a lot of time on it right now, but I have plans of using it on my 501 when my shoulder heals.

I agree, I find that any moisture on the MotoZ MH makes it a little less sticky on rocks. I'm still in testing phase, but I've had it on for about 4 rides in a range of conditions. I think this will get swapped back out for my GT 257 during our sloppy winter. But the MotoZ MH is an amazing tire everywhere else.

It makes an awesome sound when you lock up the rear over solid ground. Its just a huge tire.

I used the red hi temp silicone - can get it in the large 'calk' tubes at automotive supply shops.
Just cleaned the inside of the guard really well with alcohol then laid down a bead on each finger back and forth...
works great, ZERO vibration (the pipe guard is a flatlands brand)

I picked it up on Friday and this picture was taken on Saturday. A group of us always get together when someone gets a new bike for a tear down and rebuild. This one just happened to coincide with the Indy round of Supercross so we had a little party as well. It turned out pretty well: Fastway Linkage Guard, Power Parts Rad guards, frame protection, power parts rear rotor guard, hd tubes, JD Jet kit, Pipe Guard, BPD swing arm guard and a full bearing regrease. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with full hand guards or not. I'm coming off a broken wrist and I NEVER want to go through that again. I probably will, but we will see.

Here is a picture when it was just about finished: 2015 TE 250

Looks great! Hell yes, put full hand guards on, that's an easy decision there.

Very nice. Love the shot of all the bikes / people on the ridge. Was there tight stuff involved or more open stuff? Looks like good fun, just what bikes are for.

Hey Kelly. There was a bit of everything, tight technical stuff, deep ruts from 4x4 using the lanes in the winter, flat out sections across meadows... my highlight was the look on the face of one guy as i went past him on the back wheel in 4th gear while we were flying the meadow.. the TE300 is a monster when you get on the pipe, and mine is still running rich on factory settings so im sure there is some tweaking to be done to get to the real power :-)

Hope all is good with you dude. I miss the simplicity of my lectron though. Are the gains for the TE300 as compelling as they were for the WR250?
