It's my understanding that the FORMA brand boots sold by one of our favorite retailers in Bend are the same boots as the SIDI ? made by the same folks just different badging ?

I've been lusting for some Forma boots and don't any other mention of this. I would guess the guys at Atomic would say something if it was the case.

Also Atomic shows that these boots now use the new shallow lug sole
Now if they only made them in florescent colors with flashing lights

299.00 seems like a decent price on those boots

I have owned tech 7 for past 5 years and just bought a new pair but enduro tech 7 and really like them so far sole is better for walking on slick surface.

You all are just jealous you aint getting a set of the boots....I can read between the lines....
you talk smak but your inner "moto" is telling you they are sweet and you wish you had a pair, literally.
    LOL
    :D:D:cool:

I run Asterisk knee braces too and plenty of room to buckle em snug with room to spare.

I have been wearing SIDI's since oh...2001 and after 4 decades riding and racing and in that amount of time just about EVERY boot out there.....SIDIs are for me.
Protection, comfort, fit etc and Im not a inner booty guy at all, tried it, didnt like it.
+ I love the replaceable sole feature - on my 3rd sole set on my current gen 1 SRS - pretty sweet.

Note FYI/ trivia all the major Italian boot manufacturers are located within a few miles of each other. So I'm sure the subcontractor supporting companies contract hardware, molded parts etc to competing brands and some majors may contract manufacturing to others. (along with their overseas manufacturing/ cheap labor places)
They are basically all corporate based/located in Treviso, north of Padua.

There is a picture on the wall at George's shop of him doing a peristyle jump at the LA Coliseum rocking some Scott plastic boots in red, white, and blue. Easy to find pics of the boots but I'm having no luck linking here.
