Six Day Hi Point Riding Glasses

I originally purchased a pair of safety glasses similar to those Guard-Dogs mentioned by Dartyppyt and they worked pretty well, however recently I purchased a pair of MCR Safety's Force Flex safety glasses and they have been serving me well to say the least. Like the Guard-Dogs, the Force Flex meets/exceeds ANSI Z 87 + standards in addition to military ballistic level impact standards (MIL-PRF-31013-Clause 3.5.1.1.). They are constructed from some kind of thermo-plastic urethane material which make them super flexible and uses a polycarbonate material to improve the frame's rigidness. Also, they come with the basics: anti-fog coating, anti-scratch coating, and flexible rubber temples to hug your head comfortably. I've even tried to crush these in my hand, but they just fold back out to their original shape. I know these frames are smaller then some of these other safety glasses, but thus far I have enjoyed their comfort and performance and they have held up great while riding.

    P.S. I Don't have a site link, but I will find one.

I have some of the original ISDT glasses just like the ones that Malcolm Smith wears at the ISDT in On Any Sunday. I will sell for $20 each. These are not replicas but NOS ORIGINALS .

Rain X also has an antifog product that works well. I like the safety glasses on trail rides especially if I lead but I wear goggles in bad weather mud or dust wwhen racing.

Search wholesale safety glasses and pick a supplier. I buy them in a box of 10-12 and they end up being about $2 per. I tend to use safety glasses in the winter and goggles in the summer. And I agree, the amber or light blue ones both add nice detail for me as well.

I love the yellow glasses when I am mountain biking but have never bothered to try yellow lenses when dirt biking. May have to pick up a yellow lens and see how I like it.

Yellow is OK but blue is nice cool color with contrasts without burning your eyes like yellow can.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum, but was hoping you all could provide me with some suggestions for safety glasses? I need something tough i.e. MIL-PRF 31013/ANSI Z87+ standards. I want something thats durable, but also flexible. Look forward to hearing what you all have to say. Thanks.

I found the past few years I am more inclined to using riding glasses....I take a pair of amber and clear with me and keep one in my fanny pack...they work wonders for me and the air flow is a godsent on the hottest days......one gripe I have is you do have to ride smart(ie fast) to stay ahead of the other guys because they wont do you any good in dusty conditions.......sometimes you just have to have goggles

Not if you need prescription glasses. I've yet to find a pair of eyeglasses compatible goggles that ... well ...are.

I wear Panoptx, now known as 7eye. http://www.7eye.com/Bora-Charcoal/ available in prescription.
The removable foam piece does a decent job of keeping dust out and you get great ventilation when you remove it for those extra hot days.

I got these "over the glasses" googles from Dan at Motoxotica a long time ago, I am happy with them :)
