Um.. it would add 3 hp. Giving a total of around 36hp. Adding a powercommander would put it into the stock range of a TC449.

I see FMF doesn't list the header for 13. May be due to the new head.

Hey Tinken, what is your current exhaust set up? Is Santa bringing you the FMF?

Haha. Santa is bringing TC449 FMF Megabomb and Husqvarna factory race exhaust (4.1 Factory similar).

No, but it makes lots of hp :D

I can buy a q4 later if I get sound checked.

I am confused by what Tinken said "but I will be ordering the FMF Q4 with the mega bomb header (TC449) which will put the TE511 @ 95 dB (96dB is the absolute limit here in Socal)."

I just got off the phone with Bryce at FMF. He said the only thing they have that will fit my 2011 TXC 511 is the Power Core 4 muffler. They do not have a header for my bike. Does this sound right? Should I call back and ask somebody else?

Call them back and tell them you own a 2011 TC449.

I definitely need quiet, so I should purchase the MegaBomb Header for a TC449 and the Q4 for the same TC449? This will be good for 2011-2012 TE 449 & 511?

Yes. I'd stick with stainless steel on the header too.

HEHEHE That's my bike....yes I have the Mega and the FMF pip. That is Ty's place at ZipTy Racing. Actually...my bike is the other TXC511 they had but I have that exhaust. I can get more close up photos if you want.

Yea, that bike in the picture is really fast. It's had a crank mod and head rework done, 55-60HP. Has Olhins racing suspension in the rear, reworked KYB front. Misc Zip-Ty goodies added. He might still have it for sale, don't know.

Pictures are good...How about a video of how it sounds? What is your opinion of the combination? Silencer is Q4 or Power Core?

It's a factory silencer, powercore4 doesn't fit on a megabomb header. For a TE, Q4 would be my choice, but TC/TXC would be better off with Factory 4.1RC.

so the silencer is 'Factory" as in 4.1 with megabomb will work as well as Q4 with megabomb also fitting? Any idea of decibals?

FMF claims they can get the 4.1 down to 95 db with a quiet insert and spark arrestor, but I find that hard to believe. The q4 has an internal baffle, not just a straight pipe.
