Hate to bump a super old thread, but I'm going through the same thing with my 06. Is there any update on this?
I wouldn't just start replacing things, stator has nothing to do with spark. 1st check to see if you have spark and fuel and compression before you touch anything else.
Ya, I checked all fluids, made sure spark wasn't fouled, threw some carb cleaner in the tank and she started up.
Hey guys. Help me out here. I just dropped a nice new 2007 sm 610 into my 99 te610 I have the 3 yellows from the stator and red and green. Problem is I have a black and white extra now off the 99 harness. Any idea what or where I hook the black and white? I have no spark and getting a -6v reading on the coil. Help me please. No one has been able to answer. I hate wiring and suck at it.
