    Minus whale make a thread for all the model specific modifications that are available for the newer 449/511 SMR's. This is primarily aimed at stuff that bolts straight on, no modifications required to make stuff fit. Stuff with an asterisk (*) next to it I've personally used.

    This list will include a bunch of things that are common to the 450/510 and also the 449/511 SMR, but will also be missing things such as bash plates, radiator guards, and other parts that are common with the TE/TC 449/511 models purely because I'm lazy.

    Brakes:

    Brake Pads (To suit OE Cast Brembo 4 piston caliper);

    EBC 322/4 HH (Sintered)

    Ferodo FDB2120 ST (Sintered Street)
    Ferodo FDB2120 XRAC (Race)

    Brembo 07BB05SA (Sintered Street)
    *Brembo 07BB05SC (Sintered Road/Track)
    Brembo 07BB05RC (Sintered Race)

    Rotors (320mm);
    Braking WK087L 320mm wave rotor

    Calipers (100mm Radial mount);
    Brembo XA78910 P4 30/34 CNC Radial Motard caliper

    Master Cylinders;
    *Brembo RCS 15 Cast 15x18/20 radial brake master cylinder
    Brembo XR011B0 CNC 16x16 radial brake master cylinder
    http://cdn.carpimoto.com/Images/Products/Pdf/Brembo_Racing_Motard.pdf

    Complete brake systems;
    Beringer 4 pot radial race system (unsure if direct bolt on to 449/511's)

    Suspension:

    Triple Clamps (to suit 50mm forks);
    Xtrig XT040181213HU - Adjustable 12/15mm offset

    Nuova Faor triple clamps Supermoto - adjust for offset and rake angle
    http://nuovafaor.it/en/detail-parti...piastre-forcelle-regolabili-per-supermoto.htm

    Forks (be prepared to sell a kidney or your first born);
    As you know the SMR models use Marzocchi 50mm open chamber forks (as opposed to the 48mm KYB on the TE/TC), due to the relatively uncommon size aftermarket parts are harder to come by.

    Ohlins FGMA 1295 TTX22 Cartridge inserts

    Marzocchi Shiver 53 USD Supermoto

    Fork bottoms;
    Extreme Riders Adjustable Fork bottoms, reduces offset over and above that available from triple clamps.
    http://i.imgur.com/q1uFlkp.jpg

    Extreme Riders Fixed offset fork bottoms, reduced lower fork offset from 35mm as standard, to 20mm (-15mm). This is equivalent to their middle adjustment on the above adjustable lugs.

    The above require a 108mm Radial mount caliper! The Stock 100mm caliper is not compatible. The Speedo pickup is also no longer compatible either.

    Shock Absorber;
    As delivered these are longer than the Sachs shock on the SMR and will need to be shortened.
    Ohlins HA1184 - TE449 2011
    *Ohlins HA1194 - TC449 2011

    Arrow Full system

    *Akrapovic Evo Ti full system

    Engine Control Unit:
    JD X6 EFI Tuner (redundant with the dealer upgradable BMW Map#3/Akra full system mapping)

    Power Commander V
    - options include
    --- AutoTune (IMO spend money on a custom dyno tune instead)
    --- quick shifter (necessarily awesome)

    Cooling;
    PWR custom made radiators ($$$$ but damn the quality)
    http://www.pwr.com.au/

    *SFS Performance silicone hoses
    DRC silicone hoses

    Wheels:

    #NOTE: The 449/511 use radically different hubs to the old 450/510 models, they are also different to the TE449/511 hubs (NFI how, but they're different part#'s). Brake surface offset, spoke lacing pattern and a few other things differ significantly so keep this in mind when ordering aftermarket wheels as 99% use hubs designed for 450/510's.

    *My re-laced rear wheel uses a 5" rear Excel rim drilled to suit the new design OEM hubs (even then I had issues). I'm currently exploring a few avenues such as a 16.5" rim to lace up to my spare SMR511 front hub. I'll update this as I go.

    Misc:

    Foot pegs;

    The name is "Nuova Faor". I don't want to be fussy, it's only not to create confusion.

    Do you feel a perceptible difference between the two settings?
    Is it truly better than the OEM axial master cylinder, in your opinion?

    the link's still good...

    1000x better, whoever at Husky though the stock master was a good idea should be pimp slapped.

    Nice thread, I've just installed the full arrow system on my 511, yet to try it though. I've also got the suter clutch on the way, whats that like?

    Also got a magura 190 16mm master cylinder to go on.

    You know, usually, the better a component is, the more it costs: only expensive bikes have OEM radial m.c. ...
    And what about the difference between the feelings that you have with the lever pivot distance set at either 18 or 20 mm? I mean: is it noticeable?

    I know it costs more, but using a master designed for twin calipers is silly, even a smaller axial one would've been a better idea.

    With the RCS15 there's a noticeable difference between 15x18 and 15x20, no idea which I have it set to but whatever setting I have it on it has better lever feel, the other setting had more power for less lever movement but I prefer more feel.

    EDIT: Londin runs an RCS master as well, after trying my bike a mate bought an RCS15 for his SXV and an RCS19 for his RSV Aprilia's lol

    I would stick with the TE throttle body, but remove the primary butterfly. Both castings are identicle except the TE has been bored. The choke mount on the TC has been machined differently but the TE could be modified to accept it.

    Also, an aftermarket fuel pump which provides consistent pressure over the oem could be added to your list.

    I had a Yamaha FZ1 once and the secondary butterflys on that had been reduced in size

    There is something about it here: http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?topic=4456.0

    Has anyone managed to fit a PCV Quickshifter? I'm looking to put one one but can't see how it would fit??
  15. 70RSMAT Husqvarna
    AA Class

    I've tried and failed at fitting a Translogic system to a 511 ( samee as a PCV QS) due to the bend in the gear lever you just cant mount it where it needs to be

    Yer thats what the UK husqvarna team had on their 449 smr, I've also been talking to a retailer of SP quickshifters, he thinks one will work but I just need to send him some picks of the coil plugs our bikes use. They are a really cool design
