Nice pics again from the PNW! ... That snow and limited visibility really adds a new dimension to the riding AND I know the days are getting short out there so the light cuts out early ESP with all those huge trees ...
Snow riding is a blast. We do it at the beginning and end of the season. Once the ground freezes there is no traction so it is time to go skiing. I also elect not to use studs. Spring snow is my favorite, soft and mushy and the ground beneath has traction. Here's a couple of old pics. Cam.
Thanks Motosportz. That's good to know. I'm not familiar with the Mobile Delo 1300. I did a brief look through the forums, is that the Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40? Any idea if there is enough power off the stock stator to run grip heaters on a 2010 TE510? It would be a nice to have for those less than ideal days, let-alone a wintery ride. By the way, nice pics guys.

I did a little Christmas Eve Day snow ride today. I run screws this time of year, as there is lots of ice to put you on your butt! It was super windy yesterday so conditions went from bare ice to 3' + were it drifts (managed to bury it in a 3' drift). We have a lot of single track, that's in hedgerows between fields and they are great snow fences! Lean back and stay on the power! I need a video camera too!
Guys still ride on "Little Lake". It's more like a scrimmage than a race. I sold my '89 RM 250 ice bike a few years ago, to buy a snowmobile, but may set my '93 WXC350 up for the ice and start riding again. Snowmobile trail runs across the lake, right by the track, so I see the crew now and then. Hasn't been consistently cold enough yet this year, for good ice yet. Good fun!
