10-4. My 501 has the 4CS reworked and it handles whoops fine when I ride them up in Northern Wisconsin once a year. The rest is tight single track. Lectron won't be here for a while. They are building it now and it should ship out next week sometime. I want to ride and not spend time jacking with rejetting. It runs like hot garbage right now. Mid rpm hesitation sputtering but the bottom and top seem OK. It was 45f when I heat cycled it a few times today. I also have no idea what ratio the dealer poured in. I'll dick around with it tomorrow some. I spent this evening cutting the bars shorter and tapping the bars for the handguards. Bash plate is on and frame guards. Rear brake switch too. Radiator guards tomorrow and the extra tall seat (+35mm) When I sit on the bike now I'm flatfooted with a bend in my knees. The taller seat should get me on the balls of my feet nicely.

The EXC is street legal here in the U.S. as delivered from the factory; the XC-w is not, but in most states can be made into a street-legal bike. Otherwise, they are almost the exact same bike.

Got some goodies bolted on. Skid plate, frame guards, risers, extra tall seat, rear brake switch, license plate, radiator guards...etc. I also made a custom set of brackets to raise the speedo so it wasn't buried down in the abyss created by adding risers. I didn't do this to my 501 and I hate the fact it's buried down where you can't see it. It was 60 here today so I was able to run it pretty good this afternoon. Just some fields and gravel roads for now. I dumped out the dealer fuel and mixed up some new stuff. Seems to run better but still needs some major dialing on the carb. Suspension comes off tomorrow and goes to my tuner Saturday.

Nice choice. I was in line for one also but bought the TE300 instead. Reason….???? I had a chance to talk to a Husky/KTM dealer rep. His mentioned the minute differences between the two (well really quite a bit different). Huskies are geared more for the older more mellow power band type of guy. Different peg placement, rear subframe is a little easier to service the air filter, different length swing, handlebars triple clamps etc….
I like the linkage rear too, just not a real fan of the KTM rear set up. But like many here, had to have the suspension redone for my weight and to smooth out the dampening.
