I watched it when I plugged it in, there was no setup option whatsoever. It just cycled on and was incorrect. I didn't touch anything at the initial startup.

It's not possible, according to Husqvarna. You get one chance to select your mode when the dash is installed; that's it.

On my '09 TE610, when I get to step 4, it says END. I tried many times, and get the same result each time.
    Any ideas?

What size wheel/tire combo do the SM's use? I have an 08 TE610 that I want to convert to SM wheels/tires for highway duties...

If you´ve got the incorrect setup, suppose you could try re-placing the magnetic pickup on the wheel.

I'm trying to figure out where I can get a proper magnet to work the speedo on the warp 9 wheels I have. All the ones I see local are too thick to fit inside the caliper on rotation. Seems Warp 9 would have taken this into account and offered a magnetic rotor bolt - like the one that comes with the vapor...

I got mine working with my setup by getting a magnetic pickup tool and removing the magnet. I carefully reduced its diameter by a little using a lathe until it fit inside the rivets holding the disc rotor to the disc centre. You need to be careful when maching, heating or cutting magnets as they can lose some or all of their magnetism.
I then simply used araldite to secure the magnet into the rivet centre. All works ok but is about 10km/h out of accuracy. My bike is a TE630.

Did you find if this procedure is working ? I tried it on TE 510 08 and got the same results as yours. Wondering if I did anything wrong.

Hi guys I have tried the above instructions on my 2011 te 511 as I've got 17 inch Husqvarna motards on it, what husky bike they originally came off I am not sure but the whole lot bolted in no dramas with original spacers and all. The only thing I really had to do is drill out mounts to 8mm in front brake rotor and all is good, except the speedo is out and I am clocking up more km's then I actually travel. So my question is can I reset the speedo to sm setting or is it different to previous year models that you guys are talking about? cheers

What have no sense at all in 21 century is the fact that TE630 dashboard:

-You have not a second chance for ”reset” the dash and so, if you commit a mere mistake, you put 250€ into the waste.
-The dashboard comes with not a manual or some kind of operation instructions at all.

And yes, cause of it, I put 250€ in the garbage

    Outrageous

I just tried this procedure on my '06 TE...like a few others posted above, each time at Step 4 I get "END". When I scroll through the Mode button at that point, I get (in order) speed/oil symbol/clock/wrench symbol/END.

Any suggestionss/idea as to what I'm doing wrong?
