    Yes, HuskyT, your original intent is very clear. Thank you for bringing this idea to mind. I find it funny how many here feel it's asking too much... to ask them to do something correctly. Hmmm. And we wonder why our world is in its present condition.

    All you great Husky people writing from other countries and using english (English?) from other primary languages... very glad you're here, mistakes and all. Again, that's not what HuskyT meant. Please continue to be here. Write, goof up, and write some more. It's great that this is a global site. I hope we all agree on that. Fear of making a grammatical error should not keep anyone from participating in the world's best Husky site. I make mistakes all the time. No big deal. I'll be happy to correct them as you guys & gals point them out.

    Thanks all for the great site!

    One point that has been overlooked is that Foreign visitors maybe using a internet translator to help understand the posts and get information that they would enjoy and would help promote Husqvarna around the world. I visit many non English websites and use translators. Just my thought.

    Ladies and Gentlemen of the forum,

    This thread is much appreciated :thumbsup:.
    If everyone in the forum followed the guidelines you try to set here, will it be much easier for us foreigners to understand the content of the posts.
    It's hard enough to understand all the technical expressions, and especially all the slang for items, tools and parts.
    The English we learn at school is British English, and it differs from the language spoken by most of you guys (even the British ;)).

    Some expressions are for me, and I guess many more quite clear, for example:
    Carb. => "Carburetor"
    Shocks => "Shock absorber"
    and so on......

    Please, bare with us foreigners and our poor language skills.

    /peter

    This is another good reason for us to post in the best manner we are capable of. Proper English will translate better into another language when using one of the translator programs.

    Neither do I, I just try to understand what you guys write ;)
    But I have to admit that I've looked one or two words up for translation :p

    I have tried many translators and the best I have found is Google.
    http://translate.google.com/#

    Also if you download the Google toolbar, there is a option to automatically translate the web page as you look at it. Trust me on this one, it works.

    OH CRAP, does this mean that i am banned for posting during and especially after happy hour?

    I don`t do texting shorthand (good call Dirtdame) and i reread most of my entries but sometimes my wife mixes my cocktails a little rich so i don`t sieze when i am on the main.

    In all seriousness Husky T i am with you as vintage leftkicker`s are the cream of the crop and should all maintain the HIGHEST level of class and style!

    Happy New Year to EVERYONE!

    "I haven't run the motor myself, but the comp. is good and there's no axial or radial slip in the crankshaft"

    Something like that:D
    I can imagine how tough it must be for the translators with slang.

    Don't blame me for the translation, blame my teachers:p

    No problem Michel.
    Let me know if you need anything else translated.
    The Scandinavian languages are much the same, so Norwegian, Danish or Swedish is not a problem.

    The Finnish language is something out of this world, can't help you there :excuseme:
    Hmmmm.....I could ask my Father in law, He's Finnish

    These last several posts are hilarious. And that swedish crankshaft translation is amazing.
