The issues however minor or not minor or fixable with the single exhaust that strike me are...

    - The side the exhaust was taken off looks a bit devoid, dirt/mud may be easier to be flung up towards the rider as well...
    - The longer exhaust obstructs the tail/marker light from the left side profile / angle(s) view...
    - Law enforcement 'round here will sometimes check tags on the exhaust, not often but I've seen it happen...
    - How susceptible is it to damage during a spill...
    - What else can I buy for $800+ USD...

Not trying to be a Debbi-downer or anything, I think it looks like a quality piece from here, pretty darn good overall & am sure everyone involved has a LOT of effort in this project.

I was thinking I will make a full tank for the empty side. It would fill the spot. I will hook it up to the tank vent.

Asked for a pic and all about the front mount for the can. Yes it does exist.
It's basically the same setup as the oem. It uses a common bmw rubber exhaust bush that staintune has in stock that is contained into a round pipe with edges pressed/beveled inwards.

Setup is around 3kg lighter. Staintune reminded me also that they use a heavier gauge steel thickness on the dirt bike set ups and chose to use the extra mounting for durability and longevity. They have found using the lighter thin wall pipe doesn't last very well on single cylinder bikes.

They believe they found around 2 more ponies. (I'll chase this info up next Thursday on my next pick up date.)
They were also unimpressed with the air filter size and restrictions. So given they have the bike for another week and out of curiosity the TR is due for another run on the dyno without the air filter and door.

Check this out. Didn't expect to see this. Look at that, a big fat torque improvement, mid range. Yeehawww!
Follow the 4000rpm line up, wow, should notice that ey?

This last picture is with out the air filter and door. Sorry no torque figures were recorded on this pic.

Ok, I get that the dyno runs were w/o the restricter (no res) but what does OAB stand for? Perhaps the expansion in the pipe ahead of the muffler?

Couple questions. What altitude? What temperature? Was this on your bike with the afxied or other spoofer?

Screen shot at the bottom says 76 and 81 degrees Fahrenheit.
Altitude should be around 630 meters above sea level.
Wukaking power controller fitted. Which temp offset setting? I need to check, tonight but thought the lower -10 Setting.
AF-xied also fitted, I will also check on this tonight, staintune were checking this out for me.

"Open Air Box" -- I think that's a very good guess! It gave a pretty big jump in HP.

Any idea of HP with restricter in, as it would be interesting to compare to standard for those who like/or need to keep it quieter.

Got the graphs print outs in front of me here now.
    Maximums were-
    No restricter was 47.39 hp, 41.44 ft-lbs
    Big bore restricter 47.34 hp, 40.92 ft-lbs

Not much difference here but the biggest spread was from 3 000 to 6 000rpm.

It is way too crazy loud with out the restricter fitted and would be asking for trouble and unwanted attention. It also cackles and pops allot under engine braking. With the big bore restricter it still barks a little under load/acceleration but seems to cruise along quiet enough and runs smoothly. However some of you could restrict it a little further with the street bike restricter but we haven't dyno'd this option. I have things to scan and share. A sound video to make. Somehow explain about the af-xied (thinking no real benefits of it, at this stage).
It's been a huge day, and I'll have to say goodnight!

    Cheers,

    Q

Assuming that the Big bore restricter hp & tq numbers didn't get transposed, that's a huge 20% jump in torque. And if it's correct, then a 14% jump is nothing to sneeze at.

Here's the dyno graphs. All runs below- wukaking power controller, switch in red position, -10*C offset. AF-xied also fitted at setting 6 which should be around 2% more fuel. (Another graph and some explanation coming)
OAB= Open Air Box. BB res= Big Bore Restricter.

Don't have the torque figures for the OAB as engine RPM were not recorded for this one. Speed recorded in MPH and in 3rd gear with standard bike gearing.
