Did you pick one up you rascal??? I'm jealous! I've never had a damper myself... although my when I asked my bike mentor about which to spend $$'s on first stabilizer or susp revalve his answer was "I don't ride without a stabilizer."....
On a very lightwieght bike that you are bouncing over and around things at very slow speeds you may want minimal damping but on aheavier bike at moderately fast speeds they really help make the wrestling match between you and the bars easier. Thats why I really like Kelly's damper because it is so easily adjustable on the fly for whatever situation you encounter. Just my opinion, YMMV.
i ride with some veterans and one of them put one on his ktm 550 2stroke and he said it was the best thing he's ever done.
Damper and 3 gal tank compatability? I have an '08 TE510 and I'd like to upgrade it with a Motosportz damper and a 3 gal IMS tank. Does anyone know if they are compatible? I'd like to take advantage of this deal if they are.
