Did Warp 9 send you any spacers? I just got my wheels today. No spacers, so what did you do/use to shim? Gotta get some better Brake fluid. Thanks
Your just gonna have to play with it and see what fits and lines up. The kit should come with everything you need, brackets, rotors, sprocket etc...stock spacers may work fine as long as you measured correctly. You'll know if you need shims if the rotor doesn't line up in the caliper
Got my Warp9's a couple of weeks ago. Got lucky on the wheel fit, but they sent the wrong caliper bracket (a #3). 2nd one (#7) was the ticket
Excellent so there's hope for me. I have had my wheels since Friday and still haven't had a chance to mount them yet.
I currently have a set of warp 9 rims still in the box since March lol, have an appointment to get mounted on the 19th. Will let you know how it goes. Installing on 13 te449. I had ordered the rims thru my local husky dealer (toytech) and they had asked for the exact hub size off my te, I'm hoping everything fits nicely without the need to shim. haven't opened the little baggie to check the caliper bracket.. I'm thinkin maybe I should.
The problem with the #3 bracket on my bike was the hole pattern was not right for the caliper.....bolted up on the fork side. After talking to the guy at Warp 9, sounds like husky was using up leftover parts. 5 different rear hub sizes for what should be the same bike??????
since I cannot figure out how to insert a photo without attaching it, I guess I will finally just attach the damn thing! lol Got the lucky #7
Just received a 16.5" excel front to go with the excel 5" rear. Both use OEM hubs so none of this mucking about with spacers! Just need to find spokes for the 16.5 now
Amazon.com, got the last one they had for $230 to my door. Just need to sort out getting spokes/nipples for it.
No spacers. Had a small shim laying around that I used. Im gonna get an actual spacer machined for it one of these days. Its about a millimeter difference on my bike with the Warp 9 hub
Anybody have problems with Warp 9 putting the seals on the wrong sides of the wheels? Now I have to try and take a move the seals to the correct sides without ruining them.
Anybody try drilling a hole in their SM front brake disk for the stock speedo pickup? I am going to give it a shot.
I have the 320mm floating rotor upgrade. Speedo is like 14% off....so 55 is actually 45mph...100 is actually 82ish or so idk. I hit 90ish regularly so figure thats 80mph. Nowhere near as fast as it feels
