That should be the new motor. I believe that was what was on the drawing boards at that time. I would expect it to have conventional for today LH drive. I think they were also working on an update to the 125 as the tooling for that motor was about shot. I still expect something cool for the 250/300/340 motors.
Parts are readily available for the WR250/300. I just got a new kicker, that the Husqvarna dealer had to order and he had it in just a few days.
No issues getting parts for the Italian Husky 2T's. Might take a little while but haven't had a part not be filled eventually, even the old 125 cylinder power valves are available again.
wow new 2Ts good stuff. i was honestly expecting the same 125 & 250/300 platform which wouldn't be a bad thing as far as parts are concerned! I think I may wait a year for these as im not sold on the oil injected betas & GG is kaput so a good excuse anyway may be a second coming of the SWM165 Walt?!

oh my god....i thought these bikes were carb'd WHY! EFI was the absolute dark ages for husqvarna. My 07 sm450r was hands down one of the most reliable and best bikes I have owned. Few of my friends had 08+ 510's and that is clearly what gave husky its "buy roadside assistance" persona. They even knew this when they built the race read sm450rr models. It had a carb. They could have used efi but they knew better.
