WOW  I paid under 6K for my bike brand new and the stock suspension rules. Added handguards and rode 1000 miles with a fat ass smile on my face. Will be racing the Idaho City ISDE Qualifier on it as is. You should come do this race.

He races almost every weekend. It's what he needs to have on hand to be ready no matter what happens so he can race the next weekend. Far less parts/spares than any privateer team has.

Even if you took the 5,000 off for the Ohins you would then add at least about 1,200 to set up the stock stuff Once my bikes are dialed in I can ride them for years and never have adjust anything But in the bigining that takes time and money. In 3 week I will drive to Idaho 2,000 miles round trip. The bike has to be correct or it is a waste of time and money My current Italian bike is a good bike but at this time it is the best it will ever be and a new TE has the potential to be much better

sounds weird but 20k for full on race machine is a bargain basement price........even for off road bikes this is way on the low side. Ask Brabec how much his bike or how much Ivans Kato or Bursons Beta is. MXGP MX bikes.....???? 100K?? maybe 75K?? Then take a look at road racing machines six figures all the way...... then look at 4 wheel race vehicles....20K is low budget racing at its best!! Go get some John!!! hahahahaaa

I also know guys that buy a YZ250, leave it pretty much stock and win in the A class. Robert, you met Scott at Idaho, he can race a $5000 bike and win the A class and has for years. And I thought we were talking non factory pros here, of course riding at the factory or close to pro level is stupid expensive. I am in no way knocking John at all and totally get it but it can also be done for far less money if you really want to.

I could race a 5,000 bike I have many of them I paid 1,700 for my WR 250 and my current 2010 zip Ty Racing Cr 300 I paid $ 2,500 less the suspention then spent about 3,00. on forks and shocks BUT there are no real deals on a used TE so my point was no matter where you are a new TE 300 is about 9,000 after tax and DMV Then to do the stock suspention is around 1,000 and you need spare parts and some protection stuff and it all adds up quick Heck just a graphic kit to show all your sponsors is 150 bucks
So it all adds up in a hurry but the end results is a nice new well running Husky Which I need so need to start saving
