TE/TC TE300 Street Legal Wiring Kit?

I think it was more confusion. I was there alone in the office with two very nice and helpful people. They looked at the title that said ATV, changed it back to motorcycle, BTW raising the price from $30 to $96. They said the computer was saying that it was not allowed but they overrode it to correct it and allow the plate. They did a wonderful job for this tax paying resident of Illinois.

Yeah, since that whole XR400 debacle, I've learned my lesson: if you try to go through proper channels, you only increase the probability of failure.

Well those who have done it, how have you added lights and the nescessary equipment?

Not in Nevada haha not short on brothels either. I went through a place called o'fallon that seemed kinda neat. Stopped and grabbed some bbq. Pretty good stuff. I definitely would like to check it out more.

Here's a little bit on the CR I did. I used the Tusk light kit from Rocky Mountain ATV, Polisport LED headlight and a compact 12V Lead/acid battery in the airbox (no light coil on the CR). Not technically street legal, but legit enough to keep me out of trouble for the most part. I only needed lights to get from one trailhead to another so this setup was fine for me.

The TE should be considerably easier.

I was just going to ask if the te300 can be street legal. My 98 250wr Husqvarna was awesome on the street. The insurance was $150. It was awesome wheeling past the biker bars at 12am....

I did the same in FL. Had the Origin Manufactures Cert. and the dealers statement that bike was sold as new....paid FL sales tax (bought the bike in GA) and got my plate and title. No inspection or proff of insurance (had it anyway). Got my motorcycle endorsement for DL thru the Navy for free (200 out in town). guess I need a few lights. Wont be riding on the road cause of the tires, well mabey visitinfg trips in the neighborhood!
