Wow Desertyucca, what a response. I'm not sure whether the issues are EMI related or not, I would expect though that the Husky engineer's would have pre-empted or at least know of such issues if EMI was in fact a probable cause, a shielded cable for the TPS sensor cables would be a likely simple fix at the very least. All I can say is that my bike, a TE511 2013 has and still does have intermittent issues. Lately I believe I have reduced reoccurrence a little more by adjusting the air by-pass screw and fine adjusting my JD, but they are still there. Seems to be more prevalent for me when coming off a steep decline for some reason, worst possible times just when you need a bit of throttle, then you find yourself nearly over the handle bars. My local Husky dealer wasn't aware of the Map III upgrade, I haven't enquired since they stated they had no luck in finding out more from Husqvarna.

Thanks Apri11.. Sounds like after 3 years Husqvarna has not solved the problem with upgrades :banghead:

We would hope Husqvarna designed the Wire system to conform to the needs of the Bike and Keihin Parts. Regards to the Wire designs, Did they really think about the impact of heat on wires, external and internally generator noise, voltage spike impacts, changes of parts performance across the range of heat and heat related voltage fluctuations, or were they forced to design for minimal weight and cost? Only my view, what is correct is typically ruled out for what works, cost and staying competitive, thus the fine line to walk. I can see how this problem can be tricky to pin point since the ECU has limited telemetry no real storage or a way to take a snapshot of the running state of the bike during the problem. Simple externally attached monitoring systems could pin point this problem..... Sorry, I will stop rambling now  When it is safe, look down at how your JD display reacts during the issue  and.... For those that think JD tuner caused the Problem... Nope. I had the issue before JD installation and after installing JD!

Apri11, I know the frustration because I've been there. You're on a cool s/t trail heading uphill and there's a tight switch back or rocky step-up and
just when you need it to go it flames out and down you go. Never fails. Just when you need it to go it dies. The problem is not as complex as the previous
post implies. It's an FI issue that can be fixed.
First let me say that the JD Tuner, imo, is the best mod available for power increase for these bikes. If you can get your bike in the hands of a shop
with a Dyno and a tech who knows what he's doing the flame outs might be able to fixed with the JD. I ended up selling my JD and getting a PCV. As much
as I loved the JD, the Flame out thing was too much. At the time, however, I didn't know any good FI mechanics. If you get your bike in the right hands the
flame out thing can be fixed easily.
The PCV did get rid of all FI related issues. I just recently (yesterday) added an Auto Tune to my PCV and just got back from riding today. I had to remove
my header and take it to a welder to get the new O2 Sensor in but luckily I know a great welder who's very close by and he did a nice job on it.
The Auto Tune, I know, was a smart investment but it's not like you feel the difference powerwise. I've got a toggle switch on the bars to switch between
"Learn" and "Base" maps. Although it's kind of expensive the PCV is a good alternative for the FI issues.

Yep, I tend to agree with being more of an FI related issue rather than an EMI and grounding problem as this topic is discussed further. The PCV & Auto Tune will be the final element for me I think.

Gentlemen, I apologize if I was off topic. "To many monster energy drinks today.. lol" Everything I have been troubleshooting is directly associated with Dead Throttle Symptoms "There have been a few times where I would twist throttle and no juice" Example, I could be cruising around 2K RPM hit the throttle and Nothing bike maintains current RPM and speed. Let off the Throttle twist again bike responded. Sorry, Nothing to do with Flame outs or stalling in technical sections or low RPM maneuvers. That is an easy fix with mapping upgrades or external EFI tuners.

Not sure if that was sarcasm but it should have been as I was the one who strayed off topic. So... apology not accepted because it wasn't needed.
Now that we got that out of the way I must confess because I stated that the PCV cured all my FI related issues. It did for the most part as flame outs
was my major issue but the dead throttle thing was very annoying as well. While it's not as prevalent as it was before I still do get the occasional dead throttle.
Yesterday was my first ride with the Auto Tune and it was awesome all day with the exception of one dead throttle instance about an hour in. I tried to get it
to do it again punching it in second or third but it was fine for the rest of the ride which leads me believe that the Auto Tune is doing it's thing.,

Among other problems, my bike used to do this too.

It is now impossible as I've removed the FBW throttle plate from the shaft inside the throttle body.

If you are keen to give it a try, I have it in another post 'TE449 Running well with factory EFI'.
