Awesome. All of it. As we have met I know how small you are and thats a big tall 400 pound bike you seem to have mastered. Very cool.
Great RR Tami, I've been going to ask you if your routes will change without the 610. Looks like you are off to a good star with the TR!
The AWD Benz going and added a Mustang Convertible for the return trip. ....now lets stop hijacking Tami's thread :-)
Ha Ha-Nice, I like the way you do business! Color, stripe? Chad,(Son in law) just sold his prized Turboed Stang. OK, hi jack ended, Sorry Tami....
I've got a garage full of bikes and a comfy couch Hey...I thought there was no such thing as a free lunch??
Thanks, Kelly. Don't know that I'd say I've mastered it yet, but I did manage to keep myself off the floor. It's a start I feel like a total dork duking it out with traffic in SF on it, though. I need some softer springs front and rear. I had 3/8" sag before I left and 1000 really bumpy miles later I'd picked up a whopping 1/8" Hey, Steve! This bike probably won't see some of the gnarly stuff we've done with the 610, but I'm sure I'll manage to get in over my head before too long I'll be sure to keep the camera battery fully charged
WOW, a month later and I'm just now reading this. As always, Woods, your trip reports are absolutely amazing. The scenery and pics are breathtaking. Sounds like you guys were well prepared for the cold weather. I've experienced having to ride in snowy conditions and not being totally geared up for it, not fun. Luckily we were just a few miles from our cabin. Thanks for another awesome trip report, I'd say you and Eric are living the dream.
Thanks, jerbear! I'd say you're right Where you been, anyway? Thanks, jfoulkrod I've got to get my "Pozo on the 610's" report going before I forget what the hell happened that weekend
Well, you know I like your RRs and I'm trying to keep up, but I need to ask what a Pozo is... Pozo-Pozo.....? I know I'm going to look dumb when you explain.
Pozo is a riding area in the Las Padres National Forest near the central coast of CA. Eric and I went down there a few weeks ago on MLK Day for a few days. We camped and rode the trails on our 610's. It was beautiful and there was nobody there on a holiday weekend I'm on my way home now from a 4-day weekend that included a bit of Death Valley...the rocky bit...so I've got ride reports piling up everywhere at the moment
OK thanks for that. Ive been thinking of DV next month, so I'll be interested to see how it was. I have the 7day forecast for Furnace Creek bookmarked, but haven't looked for a while. How come you have alll the fun?
I see and hear that a lot from the rider community. I think we understand life............. better than most............ We all seem to enjoy the truly old cemeteries........reflection......especially climbing back on the bike.
