I am very happy with my Fe 501s. I am not sure if the 2017 Husky will share the same the same upgrades and redesign as the 2017 500 ktm which is claimed to be 18lbs lighter than the 16. I kknow the 2013- 16 KTM/Husqvarna has survived the test of time and proven very reliable. Don't let the 4cs closed chamber Forks scare you. I will admit they're not the smoothest in a lot of situations however they actually do a pretty damn good job. I have found there is a difference between feel and actual control. I have hit some scary obstacles including some sharp edged deep ruts and drop out ravines as well as a few very large rocks at incredible speeds and have not experienced any deflection or actual loss of control. They do their job and can be improved. I found draining a few cc's of oil out of each fork leg and playing with the rebound adjustment has really made a difference in how these Forks work I'm running almost twice as much rebound damping as I am compression through the clickers this is helped. These forks are not perfect however I have definitely experienced worse and now there are quite a few tuners that have reasonable fixes to make these Forks quite plush. I don't think you can go wrong with the white bike good luck
