I wish you guys wouldn't post these good deals. Now I had to go and order a pair. My second pair of Tech 8s are falling apart and I'm tired of dust taping the top since the top buckle mount has broken. I looked at the cost of new Tech8's at Cycle Gear of $430 and decided that they just aren't worth it.

While I was at the Atomic-moto website I found a good deal at $69 for a pair of Klim riding pants.

    http://www.atomic-moto.com/servlet/the-55/Klim-Revolt-Pants/Detail

The red pants will look visually stimulating next to a new Husky.:D

When I called and talked to Brian( I think he is the owner) about the availability of red boots, he said the boot sizes are close to what you would normally wear in a Nike.

    Can't wait to get them!

PS: shipping was free on orders over $100 which made the decision easier.

I just recieved a pair of Forma boots on Friday, wore them for a ride over the weekend and I like them. I was concerned that they would be wide enough, I have EE size feet. They were more comfortable then I hoped. Can't say anything bad about them so far. Especially the price/quality.

That is good to hear, I also wear EE.

So whats the impression you users have on how big they are around the leg? I have firm 18" calves so making it tough to find a boot that fits and closes completely over just my leg.....never have been able to use a knee guard that slips in the boot too.

I also have 18" calves and when I rode with them yesterday, I didn't wear any shin/knee guards but I had plenty of room at the calf. I don't think it will be a problem with your knee guard. These boots seem to be large size friendly.

I am hoping that with the hinge that they will work for dualsporting and off roading. They are probably overkill for dualsporting but I will give them a try and see.

I was going to buy a pair of left over SiDi chargers, but it looks like they are all gone. So I pulled the trigger on a pair of these Formas. This thread really helped to make my decision easy!

I tried them on at home and walked around a lot in them, I think they would be real nice for DS, not stiff and EZ to walk in. Nice traction on the sole.

Well, I broke down and ordered a pair. Got them late last week......nice boot but didn't fit me well. Choose the same size as I would Nike's as they recommended, but just too tight across the top of the foot, above the big toe joint. (& tight bootie)

I was getting ready to send them back for either refund or maybe try next larger size, but then my kid tried them on. Just so happens that he grew out of his Thor's, so really was in need of boots worse than I am.
They fit him great and he really liked the hinged style....then apparently decided that little bit of blue isn't so bad w/his Kawasaki green/blk outfit, so look like they may be keepers after all.

It's funny, I typically wear a 9.5 or 10 EE in all my other boots and tennis shoes...including Nikes. My current riding boots are well used Alpinestar Tech 5, size 9 (possibly a bit stretched or form fitted now after many water soakings). I've tried on a few different pairs and not one size 9 has come close to a fit, the closest were these Forma's in a 10, most others even close have been at least 11

I wear 11 shoe and these 11 boots fit me perfect. But i will say they are slightly smaller than my 11 Alpinestars.

I ordered size 13, I usually wear a 13 in sneakers, and they fit pretty well. They did feel a bit tight across the top of the foot, but that quickly disappeared. I wore them for 5-1/2 hours on Saturday and not so much as a slightly tender spot anywhere. I like them alot.

I have also determined through unintentional experimentation that they are waterproof in 8-12 inches of water... at least for as long as it takes to restart my bike. :)

One thing I do think I should point out is that the screws on the buckles should be checked and tightened if necessary. I sat down after the afore mentioned ride to take them off and as I unbuckled the top buckle, the black screw holding the buckle on fell on the floor. I guess a little locktite might be in order.

    Fox Forma?

Is Forma the makers of the original Fox Forma boots?
I had a pair and they were so comfortable but Fox went to China when I needed new boots and the shape changed

I got mine last night and I wear a 9 1/2 wide. I ordered the 10 and the left boot is a little tight across my toes. I only got to wear them for 30 minutes or so and I think they will be just fine. I'm working from home today so I will wear them all day, I hope no one comes to the door

That's what I was wondering. I had a pair of Fox Forma Comps back in 03 and they were well made but ran kind of tight. I ordered a size 6, but they were a tad too cramped. I should have ordered a pair of 7s. I wear a size 6 in a Gaerne SG10 and an Alpinestar Tech 6, and I wear a size 7 in a Thor Quadrant.

Being a female, I can't go by my regular shoe size anyway, because I wear a lady's size 8. That usually converts to about 2 sizes down in a mans riding boot.

    No, I don't thing so.
I believe Forma is the same Italian mfr that makes the 661 boots. (like the 661 Hurricane)
