You should just upgrade back to some new replacement Cycra plastic shields (the metal wrap arounds are in good shape) or upgrade to HDB down the road. You will have no problem selling your Rekluse Pro as its practically brand new.

Downsizing seems to be more than a fad. Welcome to the club

I tell you what, it is real hard to pick between the WR125 and TXC250. Real hard. The 125 is the funnest bike i have ever owned. The TXC has amazing ability.

When Jake, Shane and i ride it seems Jake always ends the day on Shanes 125 and LOVES it. In fact i think he has the bug as he was just Chatting with me about getting a 125.

Kelly, we have all come to the conclusion that your favorite bike is whatever your next bike is! It's hard for me to tell, but if I'm trying to decipher your enthusiasm (online) between the two bikes, it's definitely favoring the 10 TXC 250. However, for an all-out-rip, I see how much you love your 1 2 5.

Maybe because they keep getting better? I raved about my 08 TXC450 because it was a big step up over the 07 and earlier because of the new frame, forks and lighter weight. Many here agreed. Then I raved about the 09 WR125 because I had owned 2 04's and the new frame and forks on the 09 were a big step up IMHO. The motor needed work but is a ripper now. The new TXC is way lighter than the old one and the motor IMHO rips. So yes, it is the next one because it is a generation advanced.

As for the TXC -v- the 125 the 125 is still the funnest bike i have ever ridden. The TXC is new to me so I am enjoying it and if i was going to race it would be my choice mainly because of the extra motor to climb with. The 125 will climb anything but is harder to do it with and is slower (and less forgiving) getting up long hills as you need to run a gear or two lower.

New bikes rule...especially when Husky's keep making them better and there's nothing like that new bike smell!

I have really been digging the 1-2-5er, especially now that it is running awesome. 125 for the tight technical, 250-300 for the faster open stuff. 450-510, not sure what those are for. :D

Love how the 125's sounds all hair on fire and the 250 is like buuur buuuur.

BTW that was the open stuff, got vid of that new trail Rory popped his hose on. That one killed me. I'm to old to be chasing you kids through that, need to trade the Dew for 5 hour energy drink :D

That's the one. Looks so EZ on vid. Not that it was necessarily hard but was right after I got kicked in the privates by the 3 foot high log crossing and then dumped into this trail, lost the "trail" a few times, dropped my bike twice, stuck it in a hole good, flailed all over and stuff. Everything after that was fun. :p

That trail does not look easy...especially if you know how helmet cams flatten things out.

I saw that vid of Jake on the 1*2*5...you were ripping it up that hill and almost passed two in one shot!

The only time the 125 has a disadvantage to the 250/300 is on the technical climbs. The torque of the 250/300 makes it easier to keep your momentum. The 125 will pull from a stop on hills though it is crazy, at walking speeds it will keep on chugging and pulling.

I just like the fact Kelly couldn't wait to get off the Pumpkin LOL. I feel the same way. They were the bikes I "thought" I allways wanted; then I road a few. I will admit my 08 Husky CR125 was my favorite bike now it's my son's 2010 TC250 then my 09 TXC510.

My '08 510 is like manna from Heaven, viagra for my soul. The g/f's '08 TE 250 is a ripping lightweight weapon. I can haul arse on the lightweight 250. I to would like a new '10 TE 250. I would not even consider giving up my 510 though. It would have to be both bikes or no 250 for me. I understand your 250 desire but I want to put in my 2cents here and say keep the 510. Get the 250 and ride the heck out of it in the slop and then pull the 510 out when the dirt dries out.

Nothing is quite like 4th gear throttle only wheelies, trucking up monster hill climbs, and the lovely vibes of a Husky 510. :D

I, er...umm... would like to have them both too. I don't ride enough to justify it but still...... Wait, I'm the money maker, hmmmm.... That actually is an option in all seriousness.
