Well, hell's bells...I didn't see any ads but I had to look around forever for the dualsport forum. It was slow to respond, too.

Maybe I don't see any ads since I'm a contributing member? Or maybe I'm just special :) I dunno...someone has to pay for the forum, I guess, and if it isn't going to be the members I guess it has to be the advertisers.

What you described sounds extremely annoying:(

Mine says "Advertisement blocked" when I post something. It's not the greatest on the eyes but I can dim my screen to help.

It's improveing, give them a little time to work things out. In my experience there is no such thing as "plug and play" software.

Me a trouble-maker...no way! I just have a very sharp tongue when I let loose with my opinions!:p

I'm here lurking most every day (when I should be working:busted:) but seldom feel that I have much that's noteworthy to contribute.:notworthy:

Just logged into TT for the first time in a few days and was greeted with this little ditty:

    "Krieg,

The new site fell short in the area of contrast (too bright). It looked great on our test servers and even those that we asked to try it out responded positively. However, broader feedback after going live clearly indicates that for some, the site is just too hard on their peepers.

We will be revamping the color pallet of the site to address this problem, but in the interim, we've created an optional legacy skin that should help. How do you enable this skin?

Scroll to the very bottom of the page. In the left side of the footer you will see a drop down menu box with "Red/Grey" currently selected. Change that menu to "Legacy" and you're all set.

We've also changed the way posts look on the site. If you prefer the old-style postbit, using two vertical columns rather than the new horizontal layout, you can switch from the Quick Links>Edit Options menu. Then scroll down to "Thread Display Options" and check the box labeled "Yes, I prefer old-style postbit"."

Nothing like a good little dose of "I told you so" to bring a grin to a man's face! Hee Hee. :D:D

I am dissapointed with TT's new format. The ads are a pest and detract from an otherwise tremendous page. I have bikes other than Huskies so I need to look at those pages. I must add that there are still more Husky postings on TT than Cafe Husky so it would be remiss not to scan for additional info. I pray and hope this page stays as it is as it is easy and comfortable to read with good feed back (polite). The feed back from some Yammy and KTM respondants can be a little terse.
    Stay the course CH.
