Are you saying you paid someone to do the exhaust and reeds?

I don't own the bike. It's the dealer that sent it to another mechanic to do the work because his mechanic was on vacation.

heres my report, I got a chance to get out to break in the bike, put aobut 90 miles on it. didnt touch any of the clickers, put the 50T and chain on,just gas and go:

bike starts very easy, but first gear is much taller and requires alot of clutch work to move the bike. may try and go up on the rear a couple teeth as most of the day was spent in first gear riding around 17-20MPH,second gear just seemed to be too much gear for the tight trails, and seemed to require alot of clutch coming out of the corners, causing the dreaded stumble and almost stalling it out a few times.
bike handles as good or better than my 09 TXC,brakes are also very nice and provide great power to stop, the stock tires(metzeler KAROOs) I know are junk, but wanted to do some time on them before going to a knobby.
has a much lower tone to the exhaust than last years TXC,Im told its sounds better, but the test will be seeing if it will pass a sound test stock?
only got to 29 miles before the low fuel light came on,not sure how far it will go till empty
developed an oil drip somewhere around the clutch slave area, was too dirty to see where it was coming from, but the are was wet.
    step seat is awesome!
suspension worked well for the first ride, but no rocks or roots where we rode, was all fast tight trail and some whoops thrown in

    my thoughts:
great motor, really likes to be revved up and really shines on mid/top end
but lacks down low, could need some more teeth on the rear, may just need to be tweaked once fully run-in,my 09 txc could be chugged down low without stalling, this motor requires you to cover the clutch at all times when riding slow and the engine seemed to want to stall when going over logs and chopping the throttle

going to need the bigger tank for sure if it cant get 40 to the tank full!

going to make a great race bike and its much faster than the 09 TXC,and fully street legal
