Anyone thinking they’ll just do a “quick valve check” on a terra/strada is in for a reality check. It SUCKS. That said, Big Dogs method worked great for me but I can see wanting an assortment of shims instead. Side note: I checked mine at 15,500mi and it was in spec. Close to the limit so I went towards the other end of the limit. Not checking again till 30k.
