vintage time keeping enduros in michigan

Yes, racing starts at 9:30am Illinois time both Saturday and Sunday. Word has two-time world champion Trampas Parker and 4-time national champion Terry Cunningham in attendance. It will be a victory to not get lapped, twice!

TC and TP were there and schooled everyone, obviously. I wish Terry would use a Go Pro to help show us slow guys how it's done. postponed till the 24th and maybe till another weekend they are getting a ton of rain

The next event is the oldest running enduro in the US the Jack Pine in Moorestown, Mi. We will have special awards for the vintage class, a 79 wr 250 won the last event. If you haven't tried a enduro they are way more fun than cross country, a 70 mile trail ride never covering the same trail twice, the vintage series is very vintage friendly no crazy tight sections or water crossings , the first section about 20 miles is at a 12mph average to get you warmed up then up to 18mph ,which does keep you on your game at least for normal riders . Come on up and give it a try especially you CC racers ,I bet you will love it!

i remember reading about the jackpine in the 70's, great to see its still run

Two events left this season ,had a great turn out at Jack pine with almost 30 vintage bikes,with a former isdt rider on a bultaco taking the win. Fife lake mi Oct 20, and New Paris In Nov. 3rd

A 250 matador still had the isdt numbers on it , I will post his name when I get the sheets back

cool.....all i ever wanted as a kid was a matador...i loved the side pipe and the tank bag set up....fortunately i ended up with a husky but is still love the polished cases look of a bulty donk
