• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Website?

Speaking of being very tall, I am 6'4" with a 38" inseam. I ordered the Seat Concepts complete seat with seat pan and stardard height cover installed and it is awesome. However. I recently spoke with Lendon and he said he would build me a taller version so if any one is interested in saving some cash PM me because I need to sell the one I have to pay for the new one. Here is a couple of pictures. The seat is like new.

Do you know if that will fit a wr? If so, I'm interested.....

I increased the seat height, lowered the pegs, got a BRP Ohlins sub-mount and 116mm Flexx bars raising the bars up 2.5 inches. I also run 120/100 rear and 90/100 front tires to lift the bike.
Hi Tinken,or anyone
I am going to undertake some of the mods you have suggested, footpegs, saddle and hirering of the bars.i have seen a posting of the handlebar size as 1 1/8 at the mounts, can you confirm these please as will be ordering from the USA to the uk rox risers(as your bike) 1 1/8 to 1 1/8 (28mm to 28mm)
Oh yea,I have got the paperwork for my bike emailed to me,it is described(in Portuguese ) 2014 model built 2013,don't know if there any differences between year models,
Many thanks
Mark

1-1/8" bars yes. I do not recommend Rox Risers. Better to use BRP/Scotts sub mount.

Sorry to bring this topic back up, but how much did you raise the seat (and was it a custom seat concepts seat or an off the shelf option?) and how did you lower the pegs (and get your levers to still work with them?)?

I edited my post since I just bought a new 501 and didn't realize this thread was referring to my 310 which I just sold. The following is accurate now. I ordered the tall Husky seat foam and cover from Guts racing. Pivot Pegz allow you to lower them about 10-12mm by swapping the mounts around.
