Anyone else having trouble with their primary covers weeping?

Is it me or are these new gaskets seem thinner than Original?

If they are cometic gaskets I've had nothing but trouble with them. Super thin andfragile. I like the old paper style

Make your own gasket in thicker material.

I think it's more that the Magnesium cases warp, after 35+ years, + the gasket thickness stink too

When I disassemble an engine, after the bearings are out I clean the surfaces on a surface plate with a sanding belt on it. Nice and flat and no leaks, with the paper gasket.

You Nailed It!! It was a Cometic gasket.
I called Halls and was told they are making them thicker now.
So I ordered one Yesterday got it and installed Today.
They are still Cometic gaskets but are noticeably thicker.
