Hey another guy with a bad lurking habit! I've been sniff'n around here for awhile and am impressed with the amount of knowledge and effort Dean and others have contributed to this site. I recently picked up a holdover 09 te250 and soon to be 310. Then comes all the fun to get it broke in and running right. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to answer alot of questions down the road. See Ya ...Tim

Passin by Hello all, Decided after a few short reads that this is a great site, and want to know more about the 2010 WR300. I have a garage full of diesels (2008 RXV550 & 2005 CRF450X) which are very "worked over" yet want to get back to my roots and get another smoker again, for the tight technical trails around my place up in the Sierra's Cheers, M
G'day all Was a former husky rider years ago. Mite make a return on the new te250, see what happens...... Cheers Dave.

Husky TE 350 Hi there, I have just joined Cafe Husky, looks like a good site. I have just bought a 92 TE 350, which needs a bit of work. It hadn't been ridden for about 12 months and only started now and then. I have had it for nearly a week and, before I started pulling it apart, it started first kick. I have pulled the forks and rear shock out, both need work, the fronts should be easy, don't know about the back, there is a fair bit of wear there. This is my fourth Husky, I started with a really tricked out 82 WR 240, then a 84 WR 500, then on to a 85 WR 400 water cooled, this was the best bike, I wouldn't hesitate in buying another one if I got the chance. Anyway, hello to all and look forward to reading about your adventures in Husky world, cheers, Peter.
New Owner Hi. I recently got a lightly used 2009 TE 310. Replacement for a 400 DRZ. Trails here in VT still not ready to really ride yet. Hope the Husky proves to be lighter and more manageable than DRZ in the woods. Phil
Hi All New here, like you wouldn't know. Anyway, found this place while trying to find some information about my son's bike. He had out grown his old bike and I saw an ad for an old husky, an 83 WR250 to be exact. He is a big kid and has been riding since he was 4. So even though he was only 13 at the time I bought it. It has been great with just a few of the expected problems. Well that is until now. He had ridden it a few times in the snow this winter, but the last time it just quit. This week end we decided to check to see what happened. The first thing I noticed, very easy to move the kick starter. Checking the compression found only 30#. Pulled the cylinder and found a broken ring. The cylinder looks like it will be alright. This is what brought me here. I was looking for information about bore, clearance, and end gap. Fortunately, I found all the information I needed. I have decided to fix it and sell it. He rides way to much to be on such an old bike. Hopefully I can get enough out of it to get him onto something else with out spending that much. One thing that I didn't look for here yet is a parts source. I have been using http://www.husqvarna-parts.com/page/page/3737813.htm with out any complaints, but always looking for a better deal. Where would be a good place to get what I need? One thing about me. I have a bicycle shop, Michael's Cycles, which is my user name. But it is not a motorcycle shop. They are just a hobby. Thanks!
Intro Hello, I live North of the Golden Gate bridge in Ca. and ride mostly at a private riding area that is tight single track with lots of hills, 1st-3rd gear stuff mostly. Just bought a new 09 Wr 125 in January from Dan and Anne at MotoXotica. This is my fifth Husky since 92 and I love the brand, the dealer has a lot to do with that, great folks. I love all the information that this forum offers and will be grilling you soon about the low end bog as I can't seem to tune it out. JB
