Live out on Long Island NY just bought myself an 09 TE510 and absolutely love it! Can't wait to get into the husky world.
Just bought a WR125 and really love it. Grew up riding 125 two strokes and went all the way to open class two and four strokes. I am back on a 125 and loving it! I live in Arlington, Wa in the Puget Sound. I have lived and ridden all over the mid west and west. Love the tight challenging trails and the good varietly here in Washington.
Hi all, I'm a Brit expat living in Istanbul. I currently ride a BMW R1200GS, but I'm not getting much time on it due to the recent arrival of twins. I've decided to swap it for a Dual Sport as I think I'll get more chance to play off road than I would on a GS, and so will have more opportunities to get out on two wheels. I've been trying to decide between a 690E or XChallenge, but my eyes have been turned to the TE 630 as well. I'll be asking a few questions and picking a few brains, at the end of which I might well end up crashing a Husky through the local forests and on the trails in the Istanbul region.
Hello, I'm Rob, live in Northern Va and hope to take possesion of a new 09 WR 300 tomorrow. Haven't owned a Husky since around 1976 and just got back into dirt riding about 2 years ago. Been riding a highly modded KDX 200 but it's time move on even though it's a super fun bike. I usually ride on the weekends and don't mind traveling a reasonable distance, shoot me a PM if you'd like to ride one weekend
KTMRack aka Pat I live in Central California. I am on my second KTM. I considered the Husky but decided to stay with the orange bike. I believe it was Coffee that suggested the Husky TE 310 that is a plated bike for my son who will be 14 in about a month. So I thought I would come over and check things out. It won't be long and my son will be 16 and a plated 310 could be in his future or mine for that matter!
That would be an awesome birthday present. I take it that he is a fairly well seasoned rider. What kind of bikes is he used to riding? BTW welcome to Cafe Husky.
Hello, and heres my intro. So about a year ago I got the bug for vintage MX and just recently found this site. I have been involved in motocross for over thirty years in the Pacific Northwest and one of the bikes I had growing up was a 1982 CR250 Husky, I spent a few years on this bike before I made a switch to another brand. Last year a close friend that had fallen into some difficult times offered me an 82 CR250 on a condition that I do not sell the bike and finish the project that he had started nearly 15 years ago. My close friend spent a number of years wrenching for some very fast company and has a few AMA Championship Plates hanging in his shop. Over the years he had collected a majority of origianl Pro Circuit Husky parts that were offered before Mitch Payton got serious with the Jap bikes back in the mid 80's. The engine he had built by Karel Kramer who was doing alot of the Husky race motors back in the early 80's and was from our area before he went on to being an editor for one of the bike magazines. I will start a thread on this project soon, and will be looking and asking for advise on how to make this bike worthy

newbee Hello All, I been riding dirt bikes for over 30 years but have never owned a Husqvarna until now. I have a 74 CR400 and 76WR250 in the garage right now and hope to add a 76 WR360 next week. I have been a Yamaha guy all my life until now. I will be doing alot of reading on here and may have to ask some questions. I am just now starting the restoration on the 76 WR250. thanks Sky
TE 630 Waiting pains G'day Coffee and all, thanks for the welcome. Have checked other sites, this one looks to be better organized. I have placed money for a TE630, and the wait is killing me. Been out of dirt riding for many years, but still have highly modified Yamaha DT360A bought new in 1974. Since then riding Ducati's, GT750 (sold and regret it) and currently '98 916. I'm looking forward to some adventure and pure bush riding and perhaps meeting some of the like minded folks here in my part of the world. Regards to all Busted RS
Hello all, saw a Husky for the first time in the 70's and finally got my own 3 years ago. This is a great site to learn about my bike and how to get the best out of it.
Hi there.... I'm 53 year young vintage MX'er living in Sweden looking forward to talk Husky's here....I'm of course racing Husqvarna's and have done so since my first one back in '73 (a used '72 125 CR). Currently I'm racing the Vintage Nationals here in Sweden and also the European Twin Shock Cup (not this year though, but 2011 I'm back). Hope I can both contribute with info and get some myself in this forum. // Ride On
