An Aussie who came off a DRZ400E onto a 2009 TE 250 at a good price...much less tired after the races now; and can race enduro and motocross (in a very gumby fashion)! A couple pics - joined the site to see how everyone was setting their bikes up for racing and fun...
MFI Husqvarna Hi....My name is Dan DiMaio. I work @ the Motorcycle Factory Inc in Woodbridge, VA. We specialize in off road riding & racing. We also carry the full line of Husqvarna motorcycles.
G'day from an Aussie. G'day, I have just bought a 2008 TE450 as my first dirtbike coming from 15 years as a road rider. It has taken a while to get use to letting a bike move around under me and I still have troubles standing up and having confidence in the front tyre gripping through corners. I go riding with a couple of experienced mates who are helping me out so I am having fun, just falling off quite a bit. Coming from a road bike i had no idea how important maitinence is with off road bikes. It seems as though air filters are the most important as I already know that my bike starts to cough through the back end of a ride. (Can you use K&N filters?) Anyway looking forward to trolling through the posts and learn more about these great bikes.
