    Hey Mike
That’s a lot of nice changes
I dig the blue/yellow theme :applause:
Did you change the CRD to an uptite?
It’s crazy how much smaller it is, how do you like it?
What did you do to the plate holder?

    Howdy,

When I purchased the bike the CRD was cobbled on with some homemade spacers and welded up pipe flange, sounded and ran fine but leaked like a seive, cooked the turn signal and caught the rear tire under full compression. I may mess with it again in the spring but it will take a bit of fabrication to make it right. The uptite silencer is great IMO, fits perfectly and the performance gain in the mid-top end is great! The exhaust definately has a bark at WOT now  I ended up painting the plate holder black because the CRD exhaust had nearly turned it black because of the rich jetting and angle of the exhaust tip. Kinda looks a bit like the 2008's now and I don't have to be concerned with white plastics turning brown & black.
The previous ovner didn't like the yellow and blue plastice so he put 2007 skins on, I'm going the take the yellow emblem of the tank plastic and put an white "old school husky" emblem on just for something different.
The only other big change has been to chuck the stock headlight and put a Baja Designs enduro one on, it is a MAJOR improvement over the stock candle holder. A few farkles here and there have made a great bike even better!

Just purchased my bike 10 days ago. Lots of miles and smiles. I've been riding everyday, car still sits in the driveway. The Husky took it's place. Great fun. Cool group of Husky owners on all the forums. I think I'm hooked!

    Welcome.

You are most welcome to just look around and not post too. We have been getting hit with people (or computers?) that really do not care about Husqvarna bikes but do want to post links about unsavory products & web sites.

I just need some kind of clue a member cares more about the bikes than spamming.

Howdy all, MFletch here. Another tranferee from tt. I tell the place is just not the same anymore. Anyway I've followed the flock. I own a 06 te 450 and a 06 te 610. Hope this clears me now for posting.
  20. PhilM Husqvarna

I came here as Mike pointed me this direction. I am glad there is a specific forum for Huskys rather than one where I get told that a XR650R is the cats meow. Had one done that. Not even the same bikes.

I ride a RM250 when its time to make tracks with the youngster in the woods and then the 610 gets duty for the dual sportin' like tomorows ride.

I am really excited to get a adaptor that is being graciously made for me to modify the headlight so I can actually see something at night rather than having to run the twin HID's which have given me a few high beam flashes from other drivers.
