    Hello from France

I am in south western France, and I own a 1981 420 AXC, imported from Michigan, and recently acquired a 240WRLC of 1984 to compete in vintage enduros.
I like restoring enduro bikes, I have also a Kawasaki 250 KLX of 1980 and a Barigo Honda 500 XR of 1979.
My modern bike is VOR 450 of 2002, super easy bike.
I am 58 and I have been riding in enduros since 1973.

    Hi to Everyone

Hi to Everyone. I have been a lurker for a while and have decided to start posting. I am completing a 2 year assignment in Tanzania, Africa and will be returning to the Los Angeles area mid July. I am looking to purchase a husky when I return. Nic, If you still have the 510, email me and we will talk. Looking to go on some of the Baja trips also. I will have signed permission slips from the wife. :applause: looking forward to meeting some of the members and having some good rides.

    Thanks

    Bill

G'day. I am brand new to this forum and ride in east Australia. I have just aquired an 09 wr125. I have always been a Husky fan, although past two bikes were kdx200's.

I found this forum researching the wr125 midrange bog. I hope Norm, Walt, Motosportz and the crew of 125 fans can help me out.

Thanks Coffee for the creation of this site.

Hello, I'm a new member. I used to race huskys. My first motocross bike was a 74' wr250. I am restoring what I think is a 77' cr250.
I've also owned and raced Bultacos, Yamahas and Suzukis. I also own an 03 KX250 and a Suzuki 700 King Quad. I competed in enduros and MX in the 70's and 80's. Just got back from Red Buddddd! where Dungey and Canard kicked butt. God bless.

    I feel out of place!

I'm not sure if I "belong" here amongest all of you "New Bike" riders. My newest is a '95 WXC610 (Legal kitted) My '85 510TX isn't running, nor is my '84 500XC, come to think of it, niether is my '82 Silver Streak (6 spd.) The one that runs the best and always runs is my '80 390 OR "Black Beauty" is my Tried and True friend. It's a bitch to start when it's cold, once warmed up however, I am the Rocketeer! Everybody gives me crap about my old twin shocker, saying "I can't believe you ride that piece of crap", ya they laugh at me, until they loose sight of my dust trail! I'm a white guy that bleeds blue and yellow! Peace, Remo P.S. I saw a pic of George Erl on your site, He looks just like the Salty Old Dog I thought he Would!

Well, I WOULD have bought a Husky if I'd seen this sweet little WR125 2 weeks ago. With a 144 kit, too.

    I DID own a WR175 but that was a few years ago . . . .

So now I'm on "something else" for a few years. Still, Husky's are good bikes!

    Best,

G'day, just a quick intro post.

I have a KTM 200EXC (not road registered) as a primary off-road bike for trail rides and cross-country racing, with a bit of mild/flat MX-type stuff thrown in such as beach racing. Love it and am keeping it for the foreseeable future.

I also have a KTM 640 Adventure as a kind of do-it-all bike: commuter, adventure, trail, road-sports-thrash, road-tour etc, now cross-country racer. Now that I'm not doing m/any long road trips, I'm seriously considering getting a 4T road-legal enduro bike. Something I can use as an adventure/trail bike and for the off-road racing (when I'm not on the 200), but will still do longer road trips... not necessarily well, but not very often, either.

The brain says WR450F, the heart says 450EXC, but a local dealer has an '04 TE510 just in. So, here I am!!! :D See what I can find out about these beasties. It's only an outside chance, but hey, you never know.

I know the TE610 is more like a KTM LC4, but I'm wanting something a bit more dirt-worthy than a trail bike. Definitely an enduro.

    Intro

As the owner of a cafe and now the proud owner of a sensationally wicked TXC450. I feel very much at home here at Cafe Husky. I'm living in Warrnambool Victioria Australia. I wouldn't mind sorting out a few rides during the week, so anyone intrested let me know.
