Hi all! Just joined. I recently re-aquired my 78 CR390 in a box and will start the restoration process. Hopefully I'll be able to learn and share the experience on this site.

    Hi everyone!!! Greetings from Argentina!

Mi name is Javier and i recently bought an old '93 350TE that i am restoring. (Mi other girls are a DR350P and a Vulcan 500C).

I hope to learn a lot in this forum about my bike and i'll be bothering some of you with a lot of questions about repairing it. I do almost all the service repairs on my bikes (because money and because the mechanics most of the time cause more damage than wath they repair).

Well, that's all for now. (you also are going to have a hard time undertanding me, because of my english!!... sorry...)

    Byee...

    New TE450 Owner CHino, Ca

    Morning evrybody,

I am the proud new owner of a 2009 TE450. I traded my CBR1100xx for this and have been riding the heck out of it.

I have already been over to Malcom SMith and got to meet Malcolm himself and got a tour of his personal collection of bikes in his office. I have been down to Santa Ana to meet Uptite George. So far I have put Kenda 761 Dual SPort tires on, up to a 14tooth front and 46 tooth Rear and the gearing is dead-on for street and short fwy runs to work. It has the full powerup kit installed and I had to turn in the Idle Air screw opposite the choke to get it to run at low throttle without surging or feel likes its accelerating instead of slowing down.

Fedex will be here today with a new Corbin seat, the stock seat is good for about 20 minutes then after that it feels like I am sitting directly on the battery, so far in 300 miles I have just about worn a hole in the top of my battery, Bad Design!

I am broke now for the next month so I have to ride it evryday for awhile to make use of the excellent gas Mileage compared to my Dodge 2500.

Great Forum, Lots of great info, I think I have read every thread in here now.

Hi, I am finalizing the purchase of a 2006 TE 610.

I started riding in 1974 on this:

I've been riding and modifying this for about 7 years now:

I'll be glad to start learning more about the 610.
I am very anxious to get back to my roots and ride some dirt and gravel.

Made it home, got it dirty, dropped it once, picked it up, did not get a hernia, still have a grin on my face,
Must be the right bike for me.

Hi. this I Howie from New Jersey. I just brought home a 2008 txc 250 and I'm stoked to ride it. I'm a 2 stroke guy since forever and I'm interested to see how I can adapt. I have a couple of small issues that need to be dealt with first regarding a "pop-and-stall" situation that takes place off idle sometimes. I'm thinking that the carburetor's got some explainin' to do. I'm also very pleased to have found and joined this great community.

    Hi everyone,

Just picked up a 2008 TE610 with 2700 miles! Had the rear tire blow out on the highway at 75MPH on the way home from buying it! Turns out the rear tire was a trials tire with a speed rating of 70MPH... guess I better be more observant.

I bought it to replace the 2007 KLR650 I bought previously. Man tha thing was an underpowered pig. The husky blows it away in all categories.

Hi I am a keen scrambler in England, my usual bikes are Greeves or Stormers but I also have 1 and a half Husky 360 Enduro bikes and a couple of Sprites (American Eagle). I am now looking for an auto to ride in hares and hounds and time trials. I have limited clutch control due to a stroke but I can still hang onto the handlebars:thumbsup:
