Soon to be new Husky owner from Laurel, Md. Picking up a 2008 510 SMR on Thursday. Coming off a well modded 2007 DRZsm and can't wait to put the Husky on the track! Glad to be here:cheers:

Hi all, Dave from Devon England. Just bought an 07 TE 450 and love it already. Long time Yamaha man, but wanted a Husky for the very best of reasons: I think they look really pretty!

Yes, I know that sounds really sad!

Also got a 77 Yam XT 500 that I use on the lanes while my wife has the matching 250 and a new CCM 230 so we tend to ride together.

Brilliant forum, hope to contribute over the next few months/years.

    Great Site!

I've been around Husky's since '72 and started riding them in '80. I rode automatics from '80-87 and currently own/race several vintage Husky's(Thanks for KEYTIME MOTORSPORTS for manitaining them!!) that range from '77 250cr to 420 auto's. Thinking about a 310.

    Hi

I'm told you are the guys in the know!

Picked up an 07 510 SMR and I'm loving it, Husqvarna the best kept secret. The smr is an awesome track/street tool! This is a first bike for me but have followed Supermoto for awhile. I live in the Canadian West Coast, Squamish BC to be exact.

    Thanks

    Hi all.

Just got 2010 TE450 last month and have over 1000 miles on it already and loving it!
Half of that was on Sunday riding it from Wingate, NC to State College, PA. 560 miles averaged 43mpg but averaged only 49mph because of 10 gas stops so it took me 11 hours! Can't wait until the Safari tank I ordered comes in...

    Hi
Dave in the UK here, just bought a poorly Dec 06 510SMR which had dropped a valve. For £500 I couldn't resist, will cost more than that to mend it but still be a cheap bike, my winter project!
My other bikes are KTM 950 SM and KDX200.
Be trawling around for info soon....

I've got a barn-fresh '86 400 WR Enduro (as far as I can tell.) Needs work on the rear brake, and on the ignition. Trying to figure out how to set the timing (well, I was the last time I worked on it, about 5 years ago.) It's been sitting at my dad's garage, and I've been thinking lately about how fun it would be to get going. I'm putting a '94 Honda VFR750F onto the street soon, and think a running dirtbike would be a nice addition.

Anyway, it seems like these "medium old" Huskys are somewhat orphaned. The older bikes have support, and the Italians too, but the later Swedish bikes, not so much.

It helps to have a good online forum, so I'm happy to have found this place!

I've had an 07 TE510 for a couple years and have a love/hate relationship with it. Love the motor/Hate the close ratio tranny. It has grown on me more lately as I see my Orange friends have issues here and there. So much so that I recently popped for a 2010 TE250 for my 14 year old son...that I sneak off with when he is otherwise occupied!

    Hi

Just to say Hi from Hampshire in the UK.

Been riding for donkeys years but some recent close shaves with our Law Enforcement Officers have made me think of other ways to get my jollies.

I am now the proud owner of an 08 SMS 610ie which I can blast around the back lanes of our green and pleasant land.

Best fun I have had in years.

    All the best
