Hello to all my new Cafe Husky pals Hello to all. New to this foum but I believe it will be a great source of information for me as Huskys are few and far between here in Western Australia. I ride a 06 TE450 which is standard exept for bash plates and radiator guards to protect her from my average riding skills. I enjoy the trails to the south of Perth and smash my way up as many hills as I can find. Always looking for info & tips for the 06.
2008 sm610 looking for help locating an aftermarket exhaust system and lowering link for my 2008 sm610. Tried Koubalink but they don't make one for the 610. Want to modify the exhaust so it tucks under the rear fender
Hello from beautiful BC. I came off a yz426, got tired of trailering it, so Husky was the logical choice. Bought an 08 te450 about a month ago and im loving every minute of it.
Hello from Honolulu, Hawaii. Just picked up an 09 SMR510 used. I was at the shop getting tires for my Triumph Daytona 675 when I saw the bike. Was back in two day to buy it and sold the Daytona the next week.
Welcome to CafeHusky, jwatkins I lowered my SM610 1" via internal suspension mods. It seems to work really well and it made a huge difference. I'm only 5'1" and the 610 was really tall! Post up in the 610/630 forum and see if anyone can help you with your questions Aloha, theNige I've pretty much owned my last sportbike, as the ergos kill my busted-up wrists and knees and the SM's are so much more fun However, I've lusted after those 675's ever since I heard Triumph was going to make one. Truly the prettiest bike out there I heard some rumblings about a more Tiger-like bike with that motor so I'm keeping the dream alive Welcome to CafeHusky, everyone It's great to "see" so many new faces WoodsChick
My name is Shane Myers. I live in Wisconsin. Used to ride Enduros and Hare Scrambles in the 80's and 90's. Still have 83 & 84 WR250's and 2000 WR360 and a 2002 TE570 used for SuperMoto and Road Racing. Currently planning a return to the woods with the 83 & 84 and probably some AHRMA Motocross. Watching for parts and bikes - I would love to get a 84/85 WR400. Glad I found this site!
Hello everyone, I just bought my first Husky. It's a '78 CR250 and I'm looking forward to learning a lot more here so I can get her up and going. I've learned a lot here already!
Hello fellow coffee drinkers. My name is Andy and I will be picking up my first Husky, 2010 TE450, on Sat. I am moving up from my old faithful 2000 DRZ400. Found this place while doing some research on the Husky, its full of great info and advice. Thanks. P.S. What parts should I expect to come with the bike from the dealer, I noticed some have mentioned power up parts that came with the bike. (air filter basket, ECU plugs, pipe mods etc)
New to Cafe Husky I am excited about the new Husky 2011 310. Untill recently I have had no interest in Husky's and actually new zip about them. Although I started riding in 1978 from the Suzuki RM series I never heard much about the Euro bikes. KTM's were cream of the crop for Enduro from late 90s and owned a 1998 250 2 stroke. Was an awesome bike. Recently bought a Yamaha 2007 WR250F to see what the thumper craze was about. Nice bike but a little slow. All sold. I am impressed with the Husky history and the new capital from BMW to revive the brand. Great time to buying a new bike theay are all becoming so good. After selling my truck recently the new 310 could be a great play bike that is plated.
Hi from the Pacific North West I don't have a husky yet, but I was checking out info on them, and this site came up. Looks like a great site full of good info. I ride a 03 200exc right now.
Hello everyone. I live in Nelson BC, just north of Spokane WA. I ride an 08 610sm EFI that I drive vigorously from April to Oct. I was a former downhill ski racer. It is the same motion and the same gravity on this bike. I want to thank Coffee and all the guys in the most sincere way I know how for their insights on problems that matter to us all and the sympathy offered when a person can't ride. At present I am researching EFI electrical systems and controls, amongst other things of course. I have 14,000 miles on it, both highway hrs of whatever.
New I own a bike shop called trooper Lu's Garage. We sell and do Husky's and import a range of husky stuff. This is not an ad but our name keeps coming up in forums and I have been asked by customers to join. I am a bit hopeless with forum stuff so forgive me for any errors in forum protocol etc. Some things we have been doing is a mod to stop marzoch fork leaking, also we have come up with a trick to assist with the bogging down low on the te250. As stated this is not an ad but if I can help give me a buzz, drop me an email or post something here. If I can help I will. I just love the whole bike thing hence why I started the shop. SO I am happy to help just for the hell of it - doesnt matter where you are from etc as it is not always about the money!!! I am just happy to help out if I can. Also how do I ad an image to my address bar section when I do a post? Thanks J
