Looking to get a new bike. Hi everyone! My name is Kevin I live in the northeast I have been riding motorcycles my whole life. I raced the local enduro circuit for five years 1996 to 2000.I got out of riding until my oldest son started to ride this year. I am looking to get a new bike I want a husky just not sure which one WR300 or TE 450.Im a big guy 6'1" 250lbs. I would like to know what you guys suggest.
First time Husqvarna buyer Thanks for the welcome. Just picked up a 2009 wr125 as a yz125 replacement. It is taking a little work to get it sorted but I am liking the gear spread. YZ had no cruising speed with a 53 on the rear but it does rip in single track. I must give props to Ridersville Cycle sales in Berkeley Springs, WV. Great people and very nice place.
Hi Coffee, My name is Romulus from Los Angeles, I have an all original 1973 250 cr very low hours, Still had the bottom chain cover lower bolt that's hidden behind the foot brake in. And a 1975 360 all restored rider. I am looking for a 1973 250 rt and a 360 rt. I would love any help tracking these bikes down. Great site!
New to Cafe Husky, owner 2011 TE-630 I just purchased a 2011 TE-630 from Motoexotica in Vacaville, CA. I'm excited to share information and learn from others. I have been primarily street riding for the last 25 years. My brother had a motocross bike growing up so I had a little opportunity to ride trails. My brother inlaw just purhased a 2010 KTM 530 EXC and talked me into buying a bike. I wanted a bike that was more street orientated but could still handle the off road trails up in the mountains. I like the idea of riding an hour up to the trails, doing a couple of hours of trail riding and then heading back home. Most of the bikes I tried didn't do good at both. I think that if I set this bike up properly it will be the one.
Owner 2011, TE630 New to Cafe Husky, just purchased a new 2011 TE630. I would like to share information about my bike and learn from other site users. I have been riding off and on for about 20 years, mostly street bikes and cruisers. My brother inlaw just purchased a KTM 530 EXC to ride up on the mountain trails and started working on me to buy a bike. I purchased a 2007 Yamaha TW200 for my wife and a 2008 Yamaha XT250 for myself last month. I instantly realized that the little Yamaha was not going to work out to good for me on the road. I am 6-2 and 208lbs. It felt like a mini bike. However, for a first time dirt bike, the small size gave me alot of confidence and soon I was having fun with my brother inlaw. However, he likes going on the rough rides like the Rubicon Trail, and I am not in to that much getting beat up. I wanted a bike that I could drive from Sacramento up to mountains, ride on some fire trails with occassional wash outs, some rocks, etc., and then cruise back home on the hiway. I think the TE630 is going to be the right bike.
Hey everyone! After I just bought a nice, used 2008 TE510, I found this site. What a great resource. I also have a large BMW GS for long distance, but I also use a small dirt bike for the local action. I upgraded from a late model DRZ400S. I would ride in the hills east of my Bountiful, Utah home with my buddy on his KTM 450 EXC, and I couldn't quite keep up with the guy - mainly because my carb'd DRZ would start sputtering at the higher altitude. I knew that there had to be something better. I finally was introduced to the Huskies by a new dealer close by. I was ecstatic when I learned that they didn't need all the frequent maintenance that the KTM's require, but I could still beat his butt! I found one in Reno and drove there and back to pick it up this last Sunday. I am really excited to get on it and learn it. I will dive into the experience and suggestions here during the process. Good to be here.
I just purchased a used 07 CR125 from a friend of mine and I am completly new to the husky game. Ive owned Husabergs, TM, and KTM and now have a husky to add to the stable. i havent had a chance to really ride this thing yet but I am impressed so far. so what do I need to know?
Looking at 2008 510 TE Hey, please give me some pros and cons on 08 510 TE bike looks new. lights are gone. It is for sale . What would be a great price on this bike. The speedo does not light up and the lights are gone front and brake. I want it for a dual sport. Everything is factory ( tires, grips, brakes, ) Frame paint has not been worn off one chip in paint on bottom of motor this thing looks like it has two or three hours of riding on it, is this possible. I do not know what is going on with Husky's a friend told me they are selling old inventory really cheap right now. Thank for looking any info will help. Keep it on two wheels !!!.

Thanks for the welcome, I thought you bought the 450? I sold my 06 TE250 and have an 07 Tiger 1050 though I kinda like that new TE or SM630
I believe you are the person I met a long time ago while I was still shopping (early 2006), I did indeed buy the 2006 TE250. Welcome!
You are right, that was me. I found your site while searching the web for more info on the new 630, its a great site and was due. For now looks like I will just be reading along as I am not sure about another bike. Thanks again for the welcome!
