Newbie Name is Sonny. Traded my old Airhead for an 06 TE610, liked it so much, that a month later I traded my 04 KTM 625 SXC and my 01 KDX 220R for a new 2010 TE450. Now I find myself on a Husky Forum, my how life changes! ~slr
New to Huskys I have been a trail rider for a life time. For the last 5 years I have been on a KTM 525 but recently the new TE 310 has been brought to my attention. The street legal, lighter weight has me considering changing up! I joined this fine site to learn as much as I can about Huskys before I open my wallet and dive in! Should be fun, gbull
Hi All, 28 yrs Male, from NSW Australia. Recently purchased a '06 TE510, just getting back into trail riding after a couple years away from it. I have already been on this forum dozens of times as a guest since my purchase and already it has been helpful (e.g. weep hole for oil check is in the wrong location: read totally useless?! lol!). I'm pretty sure it won't be long until I have a question that I cant find answers to in old threads though, so here I am! Looking forward to getting to know you all, and will keep you informed on how she is treating me... McFly
Picking up an '08 510SMR this weekend - quick question Picking up an '08 510SMR this weekend - quick question Joining the SM crowd again. Have had a few bikes over the years, lots of dirt bikes and quads when I was younger (RM80, YZ250, YZ250F, 660 Raptor) then got into sportbikes with a Ninja, then Ducatis (most recent was Hyper 1100s with termis, cams, etc) and currently have a 2009 Vmax which is a total beast with 200HP but not my style of riding at all. I can do some basic mechanical work like oil changes, exhaust systems, etc but if it is not well documented or involves more than being patient and following instructions I would not attempt myself. Have never checked valves or anything like that but I'm willing to learn if its not too steep a curve. So the question is if I buy a 510SM with 3800 miles on it when would it be due for a rebuild? And how much would that cost from an authorized Husqvarna shop? My understanding is its been very well maintained - oil + filter changed every month and oil screen checked + cleaned regularly. Thanks for the advice. I'm psyched to ride this thing after reading all the first hand impressions on this site.

Hello all. Been wringing the neck of an '06 TE610 for the last 1.5 years, and recently aquired an '09 TE450. Love these bikes
Newby 38 years ago Hey fellow Husky riders, and I mean that both ways. I weigh 235lbs. Traded a 69 Yam DT1 on a 71 Husky 450 WR. then several Yams untill I bought a new 79 Husky WR desert which got changed to an Automatic engine. I still have it in the garage haunting me to be reborn. Back in after 30 years afoot. Got a BMWR1100S and a 1997 Husaberg FE501E. I am sick at what the Italians have done to the Husky reputation and KTM has not helped the Bergers any either. I will put a logo on the Husaberg swing arm that says " made in Sweden by (husky emblem) engineers".
Hey looks like a great forum i am looking to buy a new tc250 found this place looking for a little info.
Hello, new member from Canada here. Just got a 2007 WR250 that is plated for the street. Very pleased with it and look forward to wearing it out!
Been Lurking here for a while, but wanted to make my first post to keep the account active. I'm in the SoCal area and recently got a barely used 09 TE610...Love it. Looking for a nice Damper setup and a little more padded seat to start the farkle process. Anyone yet have a seatconcepts.com seat? Saw them over on ADVrider, they seem like a deal though there seems to be some questions about the TE610 fitment.
US distributor Looking to become a dealer and wondering who the distributor is? Any help would be awesome. Thanks Wes
Husqvarna 500 two strokes Hello, just figured I should make a post or two, before I get booted. The only problem is though, either my internet connection is to slow (Dutch Harbor Alaska from my boat), or the site is just having a slow down? Any how, I just wanted to say hi to all, that I have about 3 1/2 1983-84 Husky 500's CR/XC/WR in kind of ratty shape. Though two of them do run. Still debating if I should restore one of them, or just find an already done clean 1984 500 CR race bike, and just keep the ones I already have for parts? Can you make a post for me asking if anyone on here has a clean, ready to race 1984 500 CR/XC that they might want to get rid of ? With the current state of the economy, what do you think one is worth? Thanks, Joe
Old husky rider from the 70s Hi all. I raced district 37 desert racing during the 70s. My first husky was a 1973 400 cr my last Husky was a 1979 390 or. I am currently riding a 08 KTM 530 xc-w. I am looking for a 77-79 390 so I can relive my youth..lol. If I can find the right bike the KTM is gone. I look forward to reading the posts here and talking with all the husky folks. Thanks.
