Hello fellow Husky riders, just stumbled across this excellent site Been messing with bikes since about 1986. I've been a Husqvarna enthusiast since 1995 after moving down to South Carolina from Illinois. After a few months without any bike (street or dirt) I came across a 79 390WR and ended up doing a resto-fication on it...sold it in 2002, got into streetbikes for awhile, and ended up getting a tattered 86 250 Motocross and am in the process of restoring it all the while riding it. Looking to do a super-motard streetable 85-86 Husky in the future! Digging the site Lorin
new owner hello all. my name is phil and im from maine. i just recently bought a old guessing 83 84 range 500cr (I think) from an old lady whos late husband had not ridden it in some years. so it looks like ill be utilizing all the info available here to get the bike up and running. from what Ive read these bikes sound like a blast i cant wait to fire it up and ride it
How is everyone? I have not purchased the bike yet, but I am planning on it soon. I wanted to throw a post up on a forum and see what other guys have to say. I know I haven't checked it out yet, but from the pics and what the guy says everything is fine. I found the bike on craigslist and it is an 07 TE450 with about 1200 miles on it. He has it listed as $2800 and he said he would negotiate from there. I thought that seemed cheap? But the reason is he has to pay it off still. But if the bike is in great condition which it appears, is that a good buy?
Just bought a 07 TC450 that goes like stink. Figure there are other addicts to be found here.. before that I had a KTM 625 SXC (never saw the dirt...) and have a Triumph Sprint ST.
New Here Howdy Folks Just bought a left over WR250. Love the bike. It seems to handle the New Mexico Mountains very well. A lot more fun than my XR400. Got a few questions. It's great to have a place to ask them. Dave
