    Hello

Hello eveyone. I've been lurking here a while, and have decided to get more involved (pick your collective brains). I currently ride a MG but am looking at dualsporting, and the te630 is most intriguing.

I wouldnt join any forum that would accept me as a member

Kwala is in the house. Just picked up a TE610 2009 model and am interested in what mods other riders have done to their 610s - HP, seat, pipe, air box (creek crossings), 25 litre safari fuel tank availability

And how much oil does the sump take - I didnt get the manual with the bike

    thanks crew

Good day, my name is Steve...just moved from a YZ450F to a 2010 TE310, what an awesome machine! this is my first real dual sport and my first euro bike, I have alot of ergonomics worked out - bars, +15mm shifter, rear sag etc..still need to get some low profile blinkers so the "whale tail" can be eliminated without dremeling it (would like to keep stock parts intact) also looking for swingarm decals, fork guard decals etc..to protect plastics and metals..any links you have would be great!

    ride on!

Hello everyone, new to the site. Have a 1974 wr that I bought new in 1975. Have owned a few others over the years but it is the only on I still have. Have been wanting to restore it and maybe do a vintage enduro or two.

Hows it going everybody. I have been into Huskys for 10 years or so, I have two cr 390's a 1978 and a 1984. Both need work and some tlc but I should have them back in the dirt in no time. I will try to get some pics up of the back to life process. Thanks a lot.

    88 430.JPG need help

Hello all, I am From Pennsylvania & I own a 87/88 WR430 motocrosser. It is the combination of two bikes I had. I took the suspension & bodywork off my 87CR430 & put it on my 88WR430. The leftover parts were assembled & sold. The Bike has given me many years of great fun but it has strarted to pop out of gear when I decellerate. As long as Im on the gas it stays in but when I back off the throttle it pops out of gear. I think it is 3rd or forth gear. (It's been awhile & has been parked since it started happening). I know someone out here must know whats happening & can shed some experienced light on it. Thanks in advance OBD.

i didn't know what i was missing until i bought my first husky last year - '09 TE 450. i tolerated mediocrity for far too long with the other "dual sport" bikes i had been riding mostly off road. no longer... this is a great forum and i'm stoked to be part of the husky loving community

New to site and tards but not forums or bikes. Just scored and old SM610 and I am hooked. Buying stuff through Tropper Lu's here in Oz and the service and prices are excellent. Hope to be a able to drill the brains trust here for any issues I may have (like upside down kill switches that allow the bike to turn over in the off position, ahem ahem).

not sure if i introduced myself to the group yet, cant remember. but here goes...

name is clinton, from the north east, grew up riding dirt, raced hare scrambles and MX until college then sold off my Hondas. even though i rode red for years ('83 Odyssey, '80 CR80R Elsinore, '87 CR125R, '88 XR250, '97 CR250R) i always dreamed of owning a Husky some day. finally scored one in April of '07, a TC250, brandy new... fell in love with the brand all over again.

just sold my beloved '07 SXV 550 to acquire another Husky, WR144/150 [IMG] 8-9 years on the street (few track days too) and i've had it. planned to ride all track with the sumo next season but just too expensive. can wait to get back in woods next season on the new ride. the TC will stay for the MX tracks.

also have a sweet little PitsterPro pitbike w/a 146 kit in it for rippin' around the yard on. my wife has been learning clutch work on it too [IMG]

great community here, lovin' the new CH site, you'll be seeing me around more [IMG]

  18. Jimbop Husqvarna

    Hello All,
Just dropping in to the Cafe. Currently riding the twisties on a CBR 1100XX Blackbird. Looking to add to the stable and the riding experience. I spend a lot of time on a road bicycle and a mountain bike so it's now time to enter the Dual Sport world. I've been reading threads and researching bikes, talking to friends and visiting shops, I've attended the recent Motorcycle show here in B.C. and i think I'm pretty set on a Husky. Not sure which one yet and I'm not in a hurry, but I'm loving the Brand and what they have been up to. I will ride here in the greater Vancouver area and in the north part of Washington State where I have a cabin. I will probably ride a bit in the city as the Bird is too big to jump around on downtown. Any thoughts, wisdom or insane ideas are welcome.

    Cheers,
    Jimbop

Hello all - Rider of an 07 KTM 300 here, but certainly like Huskys. Even though I am a confirmed dark sided individaul (2 stroke) I am intrigued with the new 310....Always wanted a plated Kalifownia green sticker bike - but smaller than a 450. I ride at least once a week in Northern Cal.
