Newbie to the forum. Been riding (mostly street recently, reintroducing myself to dirt) for 40 years. Recently acquired a '79 250 CR, and in the process of getting it as dirty as possible, while regaining my "dirt legs". This is my first Husky (though I dreamed of many of them, for years). Mostly rode Suzuki's and Yamaha's, back in the day. There's much to do and learn. I appreciate all of you sharing your knowledge, wisdom, patience, and humor!

Hi, this is Steve from the World's Most Famous Beach. I figured it's time to stop lurking and throw in my 2 cents. Getting ready to kick the KTM 300 to the curb and get another Husky, a 300 of course. I say another since it would be my 4th. Had a couple back in the day in central PA riding ECEA enduros & hs. Still have my last one, an '82 175XC which will soon be finished....... Now I live in FL riding the FTR series and am thinking the starting lines need a little more diversity, this site will be a valuable resource I'm sure....

New to the forum but not new to Husky. I have an '04 TC450 that's had a bit of mods done to it and loving it still. Been riding most of my life on a solid basis but started racing again thanks to HuskyT about 2 years ago and am still giving trying to get better (SRAGP). Loving the fact that both my boys are into riding and racing making it a super family fun activity. It's still very hard for me to fathom those who choose to sit on a couch rather than get out for some excitement.

Hi from bluff country in Minnesota. Got a couple of Husky's. TE250 & TE630. Can't decide which one to ride most the time. Loving it. Got other bikes but dual sports becoming my favorite. I can see Cafe Husky going to be a big part of it.

At the tender age of 59 1/2 I wandered into Husky sport and tried putting my leg over a TE 630, It is now in my Garage ! Had a few days out on the trails and all I want to know is where the hell did my off road skills go ? its been over a few times and showing a few scars, but hopefully I will get better.

Just caught the Husky bug like the others on here and I'm glad I did. Just ordered a 2010 sm510 from Heinen's and I can't wait for it to get here after hearing how great it is. Not new to supermoto, I've had a KTM 625 SMC and just sold a WR450 street supermoto to get the Husky so I'm excited. I frequent Supermotojunkie as well. Cheers!

Hi everyone, Owen here. Just bought a 2004 WR125 as my first street bike, and for a bit of training and playing, maybe the odd enduro. I also have a Honda CRF450 which I race and an '82 KX250.

I've already gotten loads of info from the site, and I'm sure I'll be getting more!

My plan for the little WR is to work out a supermoto wheel conversion using MC22 CBR250 wheels and some info from the net, biggest prob so far is the info is for a more modern 4-stroke Husky with a digi speedo, and I have a gear driven speedo. I'll also be fitting new UFO plastics and custom graphics. Might even do a full strip down and paint the frame, as the previous owner has painted the usual frame wear areas without masking off or anything...

First of all I would like to say thank for all the new found insight I have gained from lurking the forum. I am expecting a new addition in the stable next week and if all goes well, the new Husky SM630 will be the beginning of a new and exciting adventure. My background, well, I have been on and off bikes since the dawn of time (that would be age 6 for me). I have a minor in Motocross and a Major in Road Racing and after few little mees came along (and the wifes [IMG] encouragement) I decided to do something a little less dangerous, so I started Flying Planes in the military and now I spend most my time in the fight. Next week, however, is shaping up to be a very good week indeed.[IMG]

Whats up?! I'm Rick, and I just traded my 2003 GasGas DE 250 for a 2004 TE250. The bike has a Rekluse auto clutch and is in pretty good condition for being 7 years old. the only problem is that both sides of the intake rubber are horribly dry rotted. It was a good thing I noticed it as I was planing to do a shake down run this weekend, well not any more... I striped her down this afternoon and thankfully, none of the cracks went all the way though.[IMG] Hopefully Hall's have these in stock so I can be up and running in time for next weekend.

Hello Guys and.... um, are there any gals here?
Anyhoo, I reside in sunny South Africa. I recently acquired a 2008 WR250. Like in two day ago. Havent got it yet, we're still arranging for transport.
Great site you guys have here. Lurked for a day or two, but decided to join. Lots of valuable info. Hopefully I can contribute later on. [IMG]
I am a total bike nut, as I'm sure you all are! I have 4 of them and my wife has threatened that I will be moving to the garage soon, as I devote more time and resources to the bike than to her and the kiddo. Anyway, I think she still loves me.
Goodie, Intro done, I'm gonna go scratch around now...

Hello! I'm Dave I.ve just purchased a new 2010 wr300 to go along with my 86 wr400,78 cr390,75 cr360. Also have 83 maico 250 spider,82 250 alpha 1, 1982 Honda cr480r,1980 can-am 250 qualifier. The manual for my wr300 does not have any info on front fork adjustments re which screw does what? my dealer is not very knowledgeable as they sell more lawnmowers and power saws.
