Checking in with CH for the 1st time.
Just picked up an 09 TE310 with IMS tank and a few other extras.
Making the switch from KTM and Husabergs. Was looking for for a DS between a 250 and a 450. Think this is going to be a sweet little scoot.

Been a long time visitor and now a member. Race all my life in America and retired to an island in Portugal where I race (all the rest of it!) on vintage bikes. Been a husky man since the age of 4. Of my current 12, 5 are Husky's between 1972 and 1996.

Always on the lookout for bikes and parts. Desperately need a 1975 motor, preferably a 360cr.

I've been lurking around this forum, among others, for awhile, gleaning the information I needed to make a choice on which DS bike I wanted to get. My decision? I am the proud new owner of a 2011 TE 630. I was leaning towards getting a plated Honda XR650R, but when Husqvarna slashed the price on the 630's it was a no brainer.

I don't have many miles on the bike yet, but so far, I love the thing. I mean, I'm stoked, and can't wait to get the thing dirty.

    Hey,
I have the fever bad....picked up an '82 yz100 a few weeks ago, sold it a few days later. But it brought me back to childhood. So now I am on the quest for a great bike. Hope to purchase either a TE310 or Te449 soon. (pending spousal approval)

Welcome Gasman i really hope you will enjoy your new ride, my wr is my first smoker and i can tell you that i really like it because it is so different compared to my recent bike, it was a suki dr-z that was way too heavy and it did not have enough power for me. I did chance the carb and the exhaust, but even then i had to struggle too get powerwheelies in second and third gear. I really hate that bike, so i sold it and went over to the dark side. My wr always wants to lift the front up high, just the way i want a bike to behave, because i do NOT care about bikes that anyone can ride.

    Howdy all,

New here from the US, just picked up an 08 husky 610sm and loving every minute of it. New to sumo's but not to riding. Have had a cbr f4i and a triumph daytona 675 that will be delivered to its new owner on Sunday. I'm also an instructor for my states motorcycle safety course.

Just started browsing here so looking forward to learning all about my new.toy!
    Cheers.
