Hello! Lori here. aka, "LoriKTM" from ADV, KTMTalk, etc. Didn't want to use the old moniker on a Husky-only site, and "Husky_Lori" just doesn't have a very flattering ring to it!

In late October I picked up a new-to-me 2007 TE250. Bought it sight unseen from a fellow rider on ADV. Never even got to test ride the bike before buying it. But I did a lot of research and I am super happy with this little gem! Single-track weapon, and 50-state legal!

Been riding for, what, 15 years now. I currently have a Suzuki DR650 for dual sporting and commuting to work, a GG-280 trials bike that needs some TLC, and a KTM400 EXC that has just lost its premier status in the garage now that the Hoosk is in residence. ;)

This is my first Husky, but not the first in our garage. When I met my husband he had an '87 WR (?)250 2-stroke. He then later bought a revved up '93 WXE 350 (with 410 kit). He always told people that the could ride it if they could start it. Not many takers with that left side kicker!

    Welcome Lori!

Gosh, I just joined the Cafe Husky a couple days ago myself, and already I've got a li'l sis!

I'm an old KTM pilot too, and I'm awaiting my first born Husky to arrive,...a WR300 smoker.

These guys are great. They've welcomed me, and already given me pointers about the new bike.
And Coffee is a super owner,...he just today helped me fix a little snag that I was doing wrong with my posts.

I wish Husqvarna made a ground coffee. I'd brew up a pot every time I logged on here! ;)

Welcome, Lori, Rusty 2, TrailRider and everyone! We all hope you like it here...I know I do!

Lori, it's nice to see you here! I, too, have a KTM450 in my garage that's been gathering a bit of dust since I got my 610. I still like it just fine, but I find myself reaching for the Husky more and more when it's time to have some fun :D

    Hi, fellow Husky owners

I have a small collection of Vintage Huskys. None are show bikes, although a couple are really nice originals others are rideable rats and still more are basket cases. I bought my first Husky in 1980 (1973 250cr) Over the years I have added a 1981 430xc a 1984 500xc, 1974 250wr, 1985 500cr, 1974 360rt, also a 1982 Maico 490, and a 1981 KTM 495, a 1985 XT600 and a 2002 VOR 450en. There are various other Huskys which are in parts also. I have done some AHRMA motocross racing. May try XC next year.

Hey, I made it! Had some trouble getting on, but Rusty 2 and Coffee hooked me up. Thanks guys.
I've been a loyal Husky man since I saw my first one. I was just a kid riding a Hodaka Super Rat and a 'old' guy on a 360 Husky showed up at our riding area. It was one of the dual range bikes. Probably built in the late 60's or early 70's. I never did know or learn much about those bikes, but I was hooked. So, I've owned a few since then. My latest is an '07 TE450. My wife bought it for me prior to my retirement, so that I could get it all sorted out before moving into my next career as a "Professional Dual-Sport Rider'! For anyone who might be thinking about making the same move, be warned, it doesn't pay much.........Glad to be aboard.........jkm

This is Jason. I am a returning Husky racer. I had a 06 TE250 and needed more power so went to RMZ450 and then KXF450 and now waiting on my TE450. It was supposed to be here today but no luck. I can't wait to start picking your brains and offering my own input.

Hi I got hooked up today. I guess with the spam situation you can't be too careful.

I got a new 610 this fall and liked it so I picked up a "cherry" 04 WR.
The 250 is so much fun that I haven't even finished breaking in the 610.

Husqy folks seem like my kind of people and this forum is great. Steve

Thanks for your email. Seems a few people are having the issue - it is extremely intermittent... which means it is hard to track down. I'm working on multiple solutions.

If anyone else does not get the confirmation email just click on the the "contact us" button at the bottom of the page for the time being. It will send an email to webmaster@cafehusky.com - it would be great if you stated the user name you have pick cause that would save a bit of time on my end.

    New TE610 owner...well almost!

Hi, I am almost a new owner as my bike is being shipped to me. I bought an 08 TE610 and am doing the research so I can do the "must do" mods even before the bike is here. :) I always wanted a Husky.

    Welcome superjonnyman ( <--47 ;);) HBD…)
Took me 13 years till I’ve got the gift at the beginning of this year…
Isn’t it funny how it takes 3 seconds and everything is back to normal again, like you never left to begin with?
Guess it’s just like riding a bicycle… ONLY SO MUCH BETTER !!!
Interesting bike carrier you had there

Uh, yeah...I'm guessing there's no cobwebs left now

Nothin' like supermoto to get the blood flowing, eh? I'm lovin' my
SM610, although it probably sees as much dirt as it does pavement...

Welcome, Happy Birthday, and please tell me where I can get a set of those Huskysport graphics for my English riding buddy please!
