My 5th bike, but my first Husky and SM. Looking forward to next season, as this is definately comming to an end. Sleet comming down sideways this morning, +2 deg centigrade made it an "interesting experience" all togehter..
Hi I ride a 511 smr Anybody out there have any gear lever tightening problems cannot get a 8mm spanner in there to tighten it? would love some insight.
Your bike is a bit different than my 2006 te250.. maybe start up a new thread in the 4stroke area here? http://www.cafehusky.com/forums/4-stroke.69/
Hello everyone. Lurked here for a little while before picking up a 2011 TXC250 a couple of weeks ago. Going to start some hare scramble racing next year, probably a little late for an attempt this year as I have only had a few rides so far. Started on dirt bikes as a kid/teenager, went to street bikes, then to the track, then to road racing since 2008 Some of my road racing buds are starting to dabble in woods racing so I took the plunge. Actually had a ktm 300 a couple of years ago for a short time before blowing out my knee at motocross track. Glad to now know some people and areas to ride in the woods. The husky is great, bike seems to have a great chassis and is light. 4 strokes sure have come a long ways since I was a kid riding XRs scott
Hi! Just bought my self a 2011 Husky TE 630. Pick it up next week. First dual sport, looking forward to some dirt education. This site and the discounted pricing helped me decide to go Husky. Kirk
Just bought my first Husky, a 2011 TE 310. Perfect size for me and replaces my much loved but too well used '99 Kawi KLX300R. Now maybe I can keep up with my friends on bigger bikes.
First husky for me! bought a new TE310 from Dan at Motoxotica. Setting is up for dirt next week I've been riding it on the street for about a month and am very happy. Looking forward to riding some singletrack on the lite TE310 as opposed to my normal tankish wr450. Phil
G'day All, I've just purchased a TE449, due to work commitments can't take delivery until the end of the month. This will be the 2nd Husky that I have owned, the last one was when I was a young bloke,a 500cc 2 stroker that was plain out scary to ride and even more scary with the left hand kick start and kick back. I was tossing up between the 511 or the 449, but seeing I've had no bike for the last couple of years I think that the 449 will be more than enough to keep me happy. The wait is killing me already. Cheers Glenn

Hi! Just purchased my first Husky as well - TE630! Picking it up this week - riding season may not be over yet. Gonna be selling the RT in the spring - no more touring for me! Terry
I have been racing MX with my 2008 Cr125 converted to 144 for last 2 years which has been a great bike. Just bought a 2010 tc 250 and love everything about bike other than oil burning problem which I hope to get figured out right away.
Greetings from a first time Husky owner. Sold my Drz and am taking delivery of my brand spanking new TE510 on Wednesday. Oh yes , South Africa is a perfect place to live and own a bike like this , the riding is awesome over here
Hi new husky owner here just bought a TE 510 (2005) really like it ! running enduro tyres and going off road ! just thought i would say hi , i also ride a suzuki svz1000 ltd.
Hello everyone. My name is Pat, I'm from San Martin California, and I just picked up my TE310 this afternoon. Its my first Husky, and so far I'm pretty pleased. I'm in the garage right now pulling my charcoal canister and putting on some goodies like hand guards and better tires, and have a few things I need to order such as rad braces and disk guards. So far the bike is damn fun, and I have no doubt that it will do as a wonderful replacement for my old YZ125.
Hello, Luke Here. I just got myself a 2011 TE310 Accessories Force - Bashplate Force - Radiator Guards Scotts - Steering damper Acerbis - Hand Guards So far done a huge 3km on it just wat to run it in for atleast a for one tank of fuel before i open her up by taking out the O2 sensor and putting in the power up plug. Only issue so far is just of idle it tends to stall if you go to take off. Will treak the idle and see how we go then if no good maybe a JD fuel map tweak. Sorry old bike was a 07 CRF 450X, after one ride on the demo bike that Glenn Kearney setup for an event he did i was hooked on the lightness of the bike and the ease of riding, i could do lap after lap with out getting tied.
Hi, I just put a deposit on a 2011 TC449 at Gateway BMW in Saint Louis. They are ordering it for me, and I expect to pick it up next week. This will be my second Husqvarna. I bought a 2000 SM610S from Letko Competition Cycles in Kansas City about 10 years ago. I took it to a supermoto "track day" at a local go kart track in 2002, which turned out to in fact be a "supermoto race" - I became a motorcycle racer that day without any forethought or planning. It's a transition that took root. Since then, I have tried my hand at supermoto, drag racing, hare scrambles, road racing, dirt track, and TT scrambles. This summer, I had my first ever experience on a motocross track, and I think I'd like to try racing some vet novice next year. If I have a motorcycling regret, it is that I sold that SM610S back in 2004 - it was a tremendously fun, capable machine. I've been riding and racing a 2000 Yamaha YZ426F ever since then - also a good bike... but you never forget your "first." So I'm very excited to be "coming home" to Husky again. I plan to race TT scrambles and MX on my new bike. And if supermoto ever regains its popularity enough to have local races, I'll do that too. Pictures and video will be provided.
Bike is in my garage. Am trying to figure out how to attach the Trail Tech hour meter - I'm thinking splice it to the red/black wire from the ECU to the coil? Have these observations: It is 3 lbs heavier than my old 2000 YZ426F - bathroom scale and 2x4 method. It is tall. Even with 105 mm of sag, it sits an inch higher than my YZ It runs smooth as silk - none of the clatter the 426s are famous for - and it fuels perfectly down low. I accidentally started to dig a trench in my back yard when I goosed it up over a tree root - it leaped up in a very satisfying way. Need to save it for the off road park, and replace my divots before the wife sees them. The clutch drags when it's in gear with the lever all the way in. It's like a midget is trying to give you a bump start push, even when you don't want him to. Perhaps this will go away with some use? I ride it for the first time tomorrow at Saint Joe State Park in Missouri. Lots of wide open sandy area, great for getting things figured out. There will be pictures.
Welcome banda, St. Joe is a great place, a little bit of everything for $5 a day. I plan on getting there enough to get familiar with the single track that's hidden in the middle of the 100 loop.
