That fuel tank doesn't look too bad, how does it fit and look up close? I'd like to have a bigger tank for my 09 WR250 but the horror stories about poor fit and quality has me reluctant to buy one.
It is an IMS and it was on it when I bought the bike. Original owner said it didnt fit quite as well as the original but he said it was no big deal. It looks like it might be obtrusive although when riding I don't notice it at all. A little slimmer wouldbe nice though!
Just bought a leftover 2011 WR300. I still need to pick it up though, it's 2 states away. I took a 20+ year break from bikes and on a whim, bought a Kawasaki KLX650R a few months ago. Well, I got the bug and decided to get some other than that heavy pig. I can't wait to get on a 2 stroke after all these years. In case anybody is curious, I have two AMC Eagles, hence the username. (Yes, I know freek is spelled wrong) 1986 AMC Eagle 1987 AMC Eagle 5.3L Chevy engine.
New 2008 TE-610 owner here from Portland. Looking forward to riding it and finding out more about the bike here.
Hello all, Southy from Sydney. I have been lurking here a bit getting information as I have searching for a new bike. I just picked up an 09 TE610 with very low km's. Ive only had it a few days but its now sporting a Barrett pipe and had PU mod done. Looking forward to getting out for some long rides.
Hi all, Guy from Townsville in Oz. Got a new 2010 TE450 last year (2010 stock sell out, I'm cheap... ) Local dealer did the sidestand mod and also took all the emmision crap off. Use it for commuting to work and for the weekend bush bash. Has PCV autotune to get rid of the drinking problem (bike not me) and motard wheels for the commute to work. If you have electrical issues with your bike feel free to pm me, lots of experience with bike electrics.
Hello, From Greensboro NC. I just picked up a 2008 SM510R. Moved up from a DRZ400SM. I must say this Husky is incredible!! I do have some questions that Ill as in the proper forum. Here she is after the 6hr trip to pick her up. (yes its worth it to drive for the right bike!) [/IMG][/IMG]
Newb from Brisbane Australia. Recently upgraded to a TE449 from a DRZ400 and first trails was a challenge on the new Husky. Looking to find some answers here. Cheers Craig
Hello from New Jersey.... I'm currently riding a KTM EXC 250F... I am going to buy a new WR 125... I just test rode one today and hope to have it ASAP ... I ride AMA ECEA Hare Scrambles and like to play fast in the woods... I started riding in 1969 as a little kid and rode till the early 80's and stopped.... I started riding again about 4 years ago and just can't believe how fast these new bike are... This will be my first Husky... My had a real lot of them over the years and loved them...
First time Husky owner and first 2012 Husky TE511 in the state of Alaska. Bought 4 weeks ago ... already 850 miles on her. Runs like a champ. Up for any upgrades/suggestions - already installed some cycra pro-bend hand guards. looking for any useful information. Have one question right off the bat ... what's a good sprocket setup to cruise at 65 without over-rev and still have the power in the dirt?
Hey all, New to Huskys and the whole Supermoto scene. I picked up a used (3700 miles) 2011 SM630 a couple months ago. I'm just here for info and to learn what i can to make this bike better for me. I'm very mechanical so i like to do everything myself.
Hallo my name is Fabrizio from Charleston SC, I grew up on Italian North Western Alps were my first real bike was a 1989 Husky WRK260, but now I’m I live and ride in the beautiful State of Sout Carolina and I try to ride as many SETRA Enduros I can. After 5 years of Yamaha I finally decided to go back to the brand I love the most with a Brand New 2012 Husqvarna TE310 what an amazing bike! Love everything about it especially the quick motor response and the perfect close ratio (13-50) for Eastern US Single-tracks.
Thank you everyone for this excellent forum and all the knowledge to be had here. I found a new (leftover) 2011 TXC 511, hopefully have it in about 10 days (9 sleep-deprived nights). Plan is to convert to dual-sport. Picking it up for well less than a new DR-Z400... what an awesome deal! this is my first new dirt bike. I had a nice 89 YZ250WR that I got from the original owner. I had a little taste of the bigger four strokes on an 05 450 EXC a few years ago... that sensation has been following me ever since. Not looking to race, just have fun and improve my skills. But I did want a lightweight with a plate to connect the trails. Sooooooo looking forward to this.......
Hi to everyone, got my first Husky recently, a 2008 TE450. The Husky will be hopefully replacing my Yamaha WR400 dual sport that I've had for the last 8 years. So far I need to get the FI dialed in before I'll be happy, flameout is ruining all my fun. See ya on the trail.
Hi... new to the forum and pretty new to dirt too. Been interested in Huskies dual sport bikes in the 610 and 630 and the new 650 coming out... not sure if it is the direction I want to go but I am here to find out.
Hey all... new to Husky and the Cafe. Just sold my DRZ 400 Pig and bought a TE 310. Having it shipped from Las Vegas. Can't wait to get back on a bike again. I average about 4000 miles a season and right now I'm behind the curve... by the time the Dawg gets here it'll be one month with out a ride...
