Hello All!! I've recently joined CH back in November. I've never owned a Husky, let alone a dirt bike for that matter. I've never been able to own one for economic reasons. But this will be the year for me to get into enduro and dirt bikes. Thanks to a job offer from abroad, I will be able to buy my first enduro bike, when I move to the UK.
I've lived in the U.S. for a total of 12 years of my life. I'm from Venezuela, and am living here at the moment. Things here are hard for the average person to get into this sport which is sad, because this would help to take young people of the streets and give them sport to enjoy and learn.
I've been reading a lot of the threads on here for tips, reviews, and general knowledge about the husky bikes. I really like the TE449, not only for it's styling which is awesome, but also the technology that it has. I would like for this bike to be my first enduro bike, but I'm 5'7" 170lbs (78kgs) and am concerned about he power of the bike and me trying to control it. I've ridden a KTM 450 EXC before but only a couple laps in flat straight line and not shifting beyond 2nd gear (i'm not good at shifting, but I guess it takes practice). I also rode a WR250, same way I rode the KTM. What would be the ideal husky to get started for someone like me? I would like to know anyone's opinion, advice, tips, etc.. Thanks to all, and looking forward to riding in 2013.

2012 te250 low seat height , very controlable low end yet rips on middle to top end , 13-50 gear for dirt and 12-40 gear for road use , the bike is best suited for off road use but can be used on roads for short trips , lots of fun...!

Whats up i'm from South Jersey just picked up a 2012 TE310. New to husky and new to the site, but not new to bikes this is about my 35th bike :D In the shop I still have a 07 DRZ400SM (For Sale), 06RM250, and a 03CRF150F setup for an adult and now added a husky to the family.

Looking to do some enduros and a few dual sports this year on the husky.

Hi, I'm relatively new rider & the TR650 Terra is my first Husky.

So far, so good. I also own a baby XT225 that I don't might throwing around in the dirt.

I'm live in sunny Perth, Western Australia and ride whenever the opportunity presents.
I must say I really like this site and its policies. I look forward to sharing the ride.

    Hi there everyone,

This is my first post, I'm from Owen Sound, Ontario and would be interested to meet anyone else from near my area...I use to owen a KLR650 but have nothing now, and would like to purchase a Husqvarna. I've been thinking about 510's,511's,TE449's and TXC450's. I'm looking for the most powerful off-road style that Husky makes, that can barely be called road legal. I'll likely put something in the wanted section, but I'm still learning about the different aspects of each one and have some questions that I would really like answered if someone wouldn't mind taking the time to reply.
    1. Can I legally ride the TXC450 on the road and is it easy enought to find and install signal lights, headlights, horn, speedometer etc?
2.Which Husky best meets the discription I wrote above? Most powerful dual-sport...off-road monster. (But still road legal)
    3. And if I can't find a Bike from someone on this site, can someone recommend several places to look for some good deals on slightly used but newer husky's..anywhere in USA or Canada is fine...I'm well aware of kijiji...I find that looking at the hundreds of places selling motorcycle on line is, I think, a bit like not seeing the forest for the trees. I find all kind of sites but don't know which are the best or even functionally active.

    Thanks,
    ken

    Greetings Cafe Husky members,
Lurked on here for a while before finally pulling the trigger on a 2012 TE310. Working at a shop that sells the brand was a major influence in my decision as well as the many great write ups I read about the bike. The price was right and so is the size of the bike, not to big yet not to small. I set it up with some extra bits and couldn't be happier! I'll post up some pics once I take some...
    See you on the trail!

New to cafe husky, but glad to be apart of it. Coming from a 04 yz250 to 12 wr300, I must say that I am glad to have this bike. Rode it today for the first time, and a big difference in handling and power. I didn't want to fall into the orange bike hype so I got a husky instead.

    Hi guys,

A new guy here, from Jakarta, Indonesia. I do not have a Husky, I ride a Ducati Monster 795, I ride it everyday it's my commuter. Before that I rode a Sportster for 10 years. I'm planning to get another bike, currently I'm considering either a Tiger 800XC, F800GS or a TR650 Terra. I plan to use the bike as a commuter too, and for long rides or touring. The more I read about the TR650 Terra, the more I think it's the right bike for me. Not sure though, cause I haven't seen one in person. I plan to visit the dealership tomorrow, which is only 2 km away from home, and sit on the bike to see if it fits me.
    thanks,
    bob

    Hello all

Had a multitude of bikes over the years. Just unloaded a couple from my garage and I am now looking long and hard at the TR650 Terra as a light duty road, light adventure, easy trail bike. My current road bike is a Triumph Speed Triple and looking at also adding another adventure touring bike, perhaps a Tiger Explorer or 1200GS. Looking forward to plenty of info from all of you Husky experts. :)

I live in the UK near Portsmouth, and have just bought a TR650 Terra which I am hoping to pick up when the weather improves next week and when my insurer c an sort out my policy because they dont yet have the TR650 listed and wont cover me at the minute :excuseme: its my second Husky, having previously owned a 610SM... Looking forward to some adventures on the TR ...
