Hello Jim from NJ here, This is my first post and last night I picked up my first Husky! 2010 TE 250. I came off a 2002Ktm 200 exc, I have been riding the kTM for 8+ yrs. I really liked the way the Husky felt, I wanted a 4-Stroke again and the E-Button and always the plate! Your sight helped make my desicion after reading losts of posts about that bike and Husky's in general! Thank You!

Ha, well I'll be riding the XR a little longer until I can afford the suspension rebuild. Talked to a guy today that I think I'm going to send it off to, but I'm leaving town next week for a month for work. May go ahead and send it since I'm about to be working my ass off. We'll definitely do some riding in May when I get back.

    Hello cafe husky,

I recently joined your forum as I've purchased a 2000 WR460. It needs a few bits & pieces repaired/replaced so I'm wondering where everyone gets their parts from? Looks like OEM from Australian suppliers is about double the cost of US suppliers - so looks like I'll be looking to the States for my parts. (Eg Fuel Tap $49 in Aust; $24 in US)Hall's looks like the place......

Yesterday, I also found a torn upper triple LHS, just behind the tube clamp bolts. Clean through. Ouch. Missed that one when buying.......funny, the PO didn't mention it...........!! So if anyone knows where I can get aftermarket triples from - I'd really appreciate the info. I've had a search on here but didn't find anything specific to the 2000 wr360.

Great forum by the way - I'm especially interested in how the lectron carbs work out..........good jetting is priceless I reckon........

    Thanks
    Mark

Yep, another new guy; Old to riding but new to huskys,,,,,Well not completely new to huskys as my old riding bud had a few back in the day and spent a far amount of time running behind and trying to chase down those Swedish contraptions on a 80 250GS KTM…

Here of late, now that the youngins are out on their own I’m figuring on reviving a idle threat that I made to the wife years ago. “Once I get these little darlings raised up, I’m going back racing”

So how did an old KTM rider find himself with a Husqvarna ? …….Well come to find out they finally came out with a primary kick,,,,,,,sure-nuff and couldn’t resist such the innovation of a 82 250XC. Yes! my chance is here and soon I too can be cutting through an eastern woods trail as in the likes of Mike Melton and Terry Cunningham……Well maybe not so fast and gracefully, but in spirit non-the-less.:oldman:

Gday from Western australia, i used the forum to ask a question so i thought i had better post in here.

2008 TE 450 i have had for the last 4 years, been a good bike but recently did a summer minor rebuild with painting the frame, replaced every bearing i could find, 7602 radiator guards and rebuild rear shock and front forks. I plan to have this bike long term so pretty keen to learn as much as i can and do all the work myself!
